Ron's numbers are pretty much on the mark. 99F is the melting point of most paraffin. 144F~147F for most Beeswax to melt.

I'm seeing a range for paraffin of under 130 to up to 150.

I wonder if I can get real bayberry candles at the Plimoth Plantation. (118 degrees and should not bother my chemical sensitivities.)

Please do not paint every Findomme with the same brush. Some of us (like myself) are attracted to the fetish for the control, not the cash.

I enjoy the cash, and the control.

But back to the off topic- topic: LP I have been making candles for a while, I absolutely love it. I make ones that usually people do not burn, as they are designer. But I also make the ones you can burn, heavily scented. It's fun to see how they turn out when it's time to pull them out of the mold. I might make some more tomorrow.

I don't scent Mine at all. I think of it more in terms of chemical composition. Anything you add changes the temp of the final product. Since I do candles for skin, I try not to mess with it too much.

good for you however my comment was not said in reply to you, it was said to Miranda who claimed to only be attracted to the control not the cash. You made it clear just afterwards that you do like the cash.
