It's not really plus-sized, but adult-sized authentic school uniforms can be had at buckheaduniforms.com.  I ordered a kilt, matching sweater, Peter Pan blouse and oxfords.  They are fun but there is nothing costume-like about them.  (Don't order a monogram - it precipitates an uncomfortable email exchange about which school the uniform is for.)

I have numerous cute Little Girl Outfits, and most of my dresses are from eBay sellers.  Just do a search under "Sissy dress" and you will see over 100 come up which about 30 are of the style you are looking for (others are Lolita and other items not truly specifically made for this but just being called that).  Most of the LG dresses are made larger that are pre-made but check out the sizing.  The only problem you might have is they are usually made for the sissy that is male, and might be too wide in the shoulders and too long.  If not too much off the seamstresses often will included minor alterations, or for a small additional fee (ask this before bidding), and many will custom make you the same dress or perhaps another style or material.  Prices for a quality dress will be from $120-$160 of this type, not the Pagent type which can bid up to 2-3x that amount.  My sizing happens to be somewhat smaller (size 12) so have to downsize or better have them custom made for the perfect fit.  Write me directly if interested on some useful fitting hints that I usually tell my seamstress.  Off forum I can share some of my photos so dressed.

Yes Buckhead is excellent quality and very durable.  I have a jumper style by this brand for the dropped waist style jumper...very cute. Have one photo available off-forum with this on.   Otherwise I usually buy French Toast brand and usually buy their largest x size which is 201/2 so will fit about a size 12/14 in misses.  But I wear a smaller 14 1/2-16 1/2 in their skirts.  I like their puff sleeve blouses especially in short sleeve and the cross bow ties. And F.T's pleated plaid jumpers are the best and very affordable as well.   BTW, mary jane shoes are quite common in misses size 10 and lower in many shoe stores, and more so when in fashion as was the last few years.  Just do an internet search on Mary Jane shoes and a varity of brands/styles will show up.  I have worn a complete outfit out for shopping and get lots of appreciate smiles.  Of course in ponytail and ribbons I do look much younger than my profile shot.

Again in Babygirl mode

tuk shoes - you can google it - they sell many many kinds of mary janes and have free shipping.  They also come in larger sizes too.  I have a wide size 11 and these shoes fit perfectly.  I have about 6 pairs of mary janes now, hehe.  I used to buy clothes from torrids ... but they have gone very mainstream as of late, so they're not so exciting anymore ... but I still get good deals now and then ... and got a cute school girl skirt from hot topic on line (which sometimes has karger sizes)

Hi Argent and Opal. Thanks so much. I almost forgot all about Lane Bryant. I think I might even have a pair of Mary Janes from them. I read your profile, and seen you are an Expert in Stockings. Did you have to go to school for that?  ha ha ha

I am an Expert in Tights. What a combination.

Take care and Please write when and if you can.

Sincerly, BalletBob

The thing I have discovered is maternity wear emphasizes how chubby you are if you have a bigger gut. I had an  adorable maternity jumper, but it did draw a LOT of attention to my overweightness and did end up making me look fatter than actually is. maybe not the case with any one else, but what I noticed*personally*

You can always try maternity clothes too!  There are lots of cutesy sites and such, perhaps that would be a possible path to find?

I am so tempted to buy these, however I won;t  I don't even know if they'd look that good on me once they were made, and I am a fiend on having to try thing on before buying. buying something I have not even tried on or seen in real life is a hard limit.

oooooooooh these sissy dresses are so cute, to bad it'd be hella expensive once they custom made it. http://cgi.ebay.com/Beautiful-Elegant-Sissy-Dress-Gothic-Cosplay-G1C_W0QQitemZ130067480463QQihZ003QQcategoryZ53157QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

it would be tempted to have this one made, but I dont know if it'd even look good on me if I could wear it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130050880552#ebayphotohosting

I think your maternity jumper may have that effect because its meant to be worn by someone who may be dealing with an expanding "stomach."   So its meant to have enough slack, give, or "poof" to allow for that.
