Has anybody else noticed the coincidence of most of the Dominant women not liking the beards, but the submissive women seem to like them? I wonder if there is something to that.

I could have sworn somebody had long hair on their top five unattractive list. So hard for Me to phantom as a hair pulling fetisnist. (Yes, I know the definition of the word fetish, so that should give you a clue.)

Ever notice there are far more Dominant men, rather than submissive, that have longer hair? Disappointing.

I really do dislike long hair on men, except for Native men.

Dare I ask what 'munge' consists of?

Hmmm... I just checked. Aaaaaaand it doesn't mean what I did.

I meant what the word sounds like it means. (Evidence of impending decrepitude)

The real meaning of the word is considerably different. In both directions.

Thanks for contributing to my education Lady Hib.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

You know perfectly well that thread was there for showing off, and we were encouraged, if not downright goaded, into posting! And we were not feeling the love from the menz. Not that we needed it, as it turned out.

Rubbish. You women didn't want the love from the menz - it was irrelevant. In any case, women never show off to men like that. They only show off in that way to other women.

As a male, and unless you're an utter cretin, you eventually work it out that you shouldn't comment on a woman's boobs. If you do, you're a 'wanker'. (And women on CM don't generally seem to be shy of using that word.) Now, you're confronted with literally hundreds of pairs of boobs and are asked to be 'gentlemanly' and compliment *all of them*?

It's screwy. Nup. The Boobs thread is *totally* women only, Lady Hib. Really, put yourself in a man's shoes. Looking at the thread - fine, more than fine. You can do that with impunity because, unlike checking out a woman's profile here on CM, you can do it incognito. But if you were a male, would *you* comment on that thread?

I'm surprised by this thread. Not only do I not know what women want, I certainly also don't know what domme women in particular want.  These top 5 seems like no-brainers, so I would love to know 6-10, which seems to be the deal breakers for the rest of us men who do have good hygeine but still seem to come up empty handed.  My guesses would be:

1.  Bald/balding.  Looks good on some, not on others.
2.  Shy guys and/or nice-guy-itis
3.  Glasses
4.  Poor eye contact
5.  Does not touch

Glad to hear munge does not equal minge gunk [shudder].
I like bald/balding, and find long hair [more than a hand-ful!] effeminate or asperger-y and therefore a turn-off; short-haired/balding men's scalps are VERY sensitive.
I lurve nice guys which goes back to neat hair; I bet more subs than dommes like bad-boyitis and beardy boys as above [absolute hard-limits are biker types which implies alcohol, drugs, crime, entitlement, gangs, mobs, hookers, tattoos, poor hygiene, morbid obesity, Canadian tuxedos of jean jacket/vests over dirty t-shirts and jeans: and gross beards!], not to be confused with good men who ride motorcycles and wear serviceable leathers.
I like guys to shy away a bit from eye contact, and then blushingly hold it; adorable.

I prefer GOOD men to nice men, every time.

And I love bald guys...but it's become obvious to me that I don't have a 'type', and thank goodness for that!

Balding doesn't look good on anyone. Bald can. It's a go big or go home kind of deal. Once you start balding you might as well bite the bullet and shave it all off unless you can afford the hair regrowth deal or implants.

Glasses can be very sexy.

2,4, and 5 aren't physical characteristics and are all potentially indicative of some deeper psychological issues. I often like shy, nervous, can't maintain eye contact kind of guys. It brings out the predator in Me.

I am too LP and regret the lack of long hair that is available.

Cuteness has no age limit! I honestly thought I was missing on some new bit of slang. (And the convential definition of munge is RIGHT OUT!)

Not so much into facial hair, although a little bit isn't a turn off for me. Bad personal hygiene is, and smoking especially is. I do not want to taste, inhale, or be around smoke period. Smoking and asthma are just not a good mix.

The biggest turn off for me though would be lack of ambition. If someone isn't ready to work, go to school, or just do something that will make them a better person then I'm just not interested. So, instant turn off.

If we had a thread for non-physical turn-offs, this would be on my list, as well as intolerance (racism, bigotry, homophobia, etc).

Non-physical attributes far outweigh the physical for me.

Regardless of gender or type of relationship.

Bad hygiene and gross teeth.
Laziness.
Bigotry even though it's not physical.
Excessive hair in places there shouldn't be (to me).
Acne. (we are not talking the occasional zit...)

You're right. You have no clue. You guessed wrong on all but one of these, at least for me.

1. Bald from hair loss, deal-breaker. Bald from deliberately shaving head might be ok. It's not my favorite and I vastly prefer long hair, but lots of military guys shave their heads or wear a high-and-tight which is almost the same thing. I loves me a man in uniform.

2. LOVE LOVE LOVE the shy, geeky guys. Bring 'em on.

3. Glasses are fine as long as they aren't the stupid Buddy Holly hipster type. Even if they are, he can always get new frames.

4. This one might be a deal-breaker, depending on the reason. If he's shy and not looking at me much, that can be remedied. If he's just ignoring me because he's distracted by everything else, that's a no.

5. Touch me and you stand to lose your favorite body part unless I have specifically invited you to touch. Hands. Off.

Now that I am clear on the difference between shy (good) and PASSIVE (ghastly) I am fine with shy, bald, not bald, glasses, not glasses...

It's their personalities that make men just...undesirable. If a man makes it onto my radar, you know he has a whole list of fine, and his appearance is ancillary. Or in some cases, a tremendous bonus. I have yet to select for beauty.
