ORIGINAL: littlewonder ha...I do that as well. Master was not thrilled with me and would yell at me every single time he saw me up and doing things. And if I would tell him about my day and not thinking, I would say about lifting something or whatever and I'd hear it all night long! For me if I don't really feel much pain, I think I can do anything and not really be all that concerned. It's hard for me to just sit in bed and ask someone else to do things for me. UGH. Well then don't take the bloody painkillers, and be smart about your healing, lest it leave you with undesirable consequences, which is NOTHING of which to be proud. Remember, you are not alone in life and are responsible not only to yourself, but others. Be smart about it, girl. Love and care anough for yourself and others to do so. You're damned lucky to have someone to love and care for you. I do not, and have done all my major surgeries and recoveries (including cooking, cleaning laundry, shopping, etc.) on my own. One of them was even a spinal surgery, which was no damned fun. I'd give my right arm for someone to care enough about me to chastise me for unthinkingly overdoing it and endangering myself. Do you not know how lucky you are?! Sorry sweetie, I don't mean to sound harsh. I'm just a bit bluesy, because I do not have that good fortune in life as you do. Please, honor those that love you, and yourself as well.
