ORIGINAL: FrostedFlake I had the impression the difference between Housework and No Strings Housework was that one was just house work. As in, sure, I do housework, but it's just chores. Nothing more to it. Turns out, that ain't it at all. What IS exactly the difference between just "housework" and "no strings housework"? I've never really understood that one. This one is a difficult distinction to make when you just don't care. Apparently, I may still have it wrong, "Housework" is where the one party might say to the other, "It isn't any fun if you don't make me wear heels and a frilly apron!" In contrast, "No Strings Housework" is where the active party derives satisfaction from being of service to the not necessarily present and certainly not supervising other party. The way I look at it, I don't mind doing a little work now and then if that is what it takes to maintain a reasonably nice place to hang out in. No kink to it. It's neither one nor the other. It's just normal.
