The way you are describing the problem of the skin moving on the shaft does not sound like a circumcision would do anything for you. The only thing removed during the operation is the foreskin, the skin on the shaft is not getting tightened.

I would suggest using a condom with a more snug fit.

helpful for me, I'll put it here so anyone interested
can get a better understanding of different types
of foreskins.

I had no idea! All the uncircumcised penises I've seen were in between Coverage Index 6 and 7.

In the interest of exhausting all alternatives before surgery, I have the following suggestions:

- Does lubrication make a difference in slippage? Maybe you need some lube?

- Have you tried different condom materials? (Keep in mind that lambskin prevents pregnancy but not STDs - I was thinking polyurethane or polyisoprene.)

- Has anyone used the female condom? Reviews?

Back to the subject. I had a good friend who, because he was a preemie, wasn't curcumcised at birth.
Fast forward 24 years. His wife to be was in med school and wanted him to be circumcised prior to their marriage.
He said the recivery was somewhat painful but he has had no problems in the last 25 years.

I mean with the metal thingies guys stick thru their cocks these days,[:'(] circumcision seems kinda minor.

I have a lot of experience with uncircumcised penises (at least about 75 guys) as it's far less commonly done in Belgium as it seems to be in the US.
I've had several lovers before who've had the same problems you're describing Aries, and you're right, it's got nothing to do with condom size. Instead, it seems to be more related to how much stretch/give they have in the foreskin, which relates to how much movement it has during penetration. With most guys I've been with who have trouble it's not so bad that the condom comes off completely, it just tends to migrate up a little, and needs infrequent readjusting, but one guy I've been with had to literally hold the condom during sex the whole time, lest it would come off completely.
I also have never had that issue with a man with a circumcised cock, and that's with quite a large sample group as well. [:)]
So my personal sample would give me the very untested and unscientific opinion that circumcision would probably help you with that issue.

My brother was circumcised at age 10, due to infection issues because his foreskin was too tight. I know it was very uncomfortable and painful for him, but I never really talked to him in depth about it, so I can't really tell you more than that on that subject.

I also want to mention that like LP I prefer cut dicks over uncut, mainly because regardless of how clean a man manages to keep his penis, dicks with foreskin tend to smell unpleasant faster, and even when they don't smell, always have a less pleasant taste to them than circumcised cocks. I think it's because of the accumulation for sweat and pre-cum, but uncircumcised cocks always have a distinctive "acidic" taste to them, whereas circumcised cocks only have that if the guy doesn't bath enough. If the guys washes enough the taste is never really unpleasant enough to deter me from sucking cock, but I prefer to do it on uncircumcised men. Just an extra point to consider when you're deciding if you want to go through with this or not.

You mentioned about insurance. Most insurance won't cover it unless there's a medical issue. Otherwise, it's considered cosmetic most times. But check with your insurance to make sure.
