She does the fucking weirdest shit (78...going on "fucking loooooney").

Last week (she also did this 2 months ago) she went to the gas station, put her card in, put the pump in her tank (didn't answer the questions on the screen or pull the trigger), went inside to get some shit she really didn't care about or need but....it beckoned.

She comes back out, takes the pump out of her tank (coffee or whatever in hand) and drives off.

Didn't grab her card, didn't get a drop of gas and 8 miles later looks at her dash and realizes...."oh shit...I didn't get any gas".

Goes back....attendant recognizes her, hands her her card, explains how the system works...walks her through the whole damn thing....she decides she's going to use cash this time (no sense in doing something stooopit like last time), goes inside, tells the guy which pump she's going to fill from (I wonder if it was even the fucking pump she was at LOL)....goes back to her car and drives off.

I swear at least 3 times a week she calls me to tell me something crazy she's done and honest to gawd...I think I'm going to lose a lung laughing my ass off.

(So far I haven't gotten any calls from another State asking me "Sir, we have a woman here with your last name, she says she knows you...she was questioning the ducks in our local park and insisting the newspaper boy take some day old bread from her....do you know her?").

Yeah and those comedy cable channels are non-stop repeats as well. Not to be a downer and could be nothing but she should tell her GP about the memory loss. Maybe she just needs a strong regular Omega 3 capsule which can help memory a lot. Only problem is remembering to take it!

O hell Lookie, I'm 49 and though I don't forget to pump my gas, I forget about everything else there is. I know I put my cell phone down in my apartment somewhere tonight. That was over 4 hrs ago. I still haven't found it. Keys, sunglasses, drinks, remotes, smokes, lighters.

Mind you my dad just turned 77 and he's pulled a bunch of stuff like your mom in the last couple of years. He makes me laugh, then gets upset with me cuz I'm laughing, then realizes that it is funny. I'm sooooo glad he's got a g/f he's with every day who can remind him where stuff is. The fridge is the fun part most of the time.

I wish I could claim I have Alzheimers for as much as I forget everything lately. Two seconds later, it's outta my head. If it wasn't for my iphone and Master I would really be fucking screwed. I even forget to read the notes that I wrote to remind me.

My day usually starts and ends with "you know, that guy, that one...yes, you remember....<scratches head trying to remember>...uumm...what the hell is his name?...eerr....<continues to think>....AAHH FUCKIT! Forget it".
