LP-- honestly, I didn't even have you, personally, in mind when I mentioned the economy of kink. That extended naturally from the initial part of my reply. To be frank, I didn't even know you're a pro domme until your latest post; I've never seen your profile, because I don't cruise doms/dommes. So I wasn't, and am not, referring to you personally. And my statement still stands: there is no financial market for het male doms. From what little I have seen of five continents, this is likely universal. If you know of evidence otherwise, I would be very interested in knowing of it. And we can pose the contrapositive: a female sub can present herself as requiring a certain criteria from her playmates and still be overwhelmed by responses...but a het male sub is not at all well-received, proferring the very same context. You can assert that your tits don't bring you business, and I'll totally agree, because I have no reason to doubt you...but, without them, you'd starve, right? Unless you were still beating guys, of course. This has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with the clientele. Show me a woman who pays to get beaten by a man, and I will be flabbergasted.

I am no pro domme. I will tell you what I do..... I have been a presenter these past six years. I have never received a profit from it. I started making BDSM candles this past year. Threads like this are like those Buddhist Tanka paintings where a million churning souls are locked in an endless cycle of unquenchable desire. Nice guy Dom wants to tap dance around everything until he feels on solid ground because he doesn't want to offend. Classic deadlock. It reminds me of junior high school where no one would ask a girl to dance, and if they did, the girls felt honor-bound to refuse. Therefore, to find a girlfriend, I had to flee the dances and try my (very middling) luck at being a hippie. A carefully written plenty of fish ad seems more likely to yield up a payday for the worthy OP. Obviously, upfront is good and social skills matter. But you get what you get, and generally it's a very flawed version of both.
