What do I think?

Easy, I've read it all so many times that I know for sure I have nothing, other than the verb of fetish, to be rueful about, I got hung up on the idea of "To fetish". I stand by my words and the manner in which they reflected the emotional messages thrown at me.

Now, I am always open to reflections of others so please advise me on which post/s has led you to this little bit of fingering and the use of the word "asshat".

No, that wouldn't be helping you would it? But I can honestly say, that the "asshat bell" was a'ringing. Don't take this personally, I'm sure you're not an asshat, I'm just saying that that is the impression that I as a rather disinterested observer came to.

quote:

Also why you have not addressed your post to others since I can show you a multitude of comments which could be defined as coming from the brain of an asshat.

Remember when I said "Bear in mind that I've not asked you to look and see whether you could possibly have come over as more or less of an asshat than other posters - just focus on your own contribution.".

Can you think of a reason I might have bothered to write that?

quote:

Then shortly after, the asshat who found non existent grammar errors, called us "shallow" because we were specific about OUR desires and lost his cool because we used the collarme choices to define our attitude to certain religions.

He was hoisted with his own petard.

And are you sure that your responses reflect well on you?

quote:

So like any twuu Master, i stand by my words. I have a suggestion to make too, that you ponder a little bit on what the four "xxxx" might stand for.

I'm following a few leads on that one.

Challenge of the day (bored and mildly stressed about a trip to the dentist, which I firmly believe are sadists, tomorrow) to figure out the four x's.

Of course it would, since I have explained that I have read it and can find nothing that rings any bells so for my edification it would be really useful to see how others are interpreting words. Since that is also a theme within the thread that has been highlighted.

I can only conclude therefore that you are unable to post examples as I have done to support my point of view.

Thanks for the sentiments and have a great life too.

Really? Is that the only conclusion you're capable of coming to, or is it the only one you're willing to come to?

The first will speak to your intellect, the second your arrogance.

I think you'll have to agree that there are many other conclusions that might be arrived at, quite reasonably.

But thanks - You're really helping me to narrow down the "what do the four x's stand for" conundrum.

You have already stated your reason or did you forget?

Certainly an element of arrogance in that reply, nothing for the intellect.

No I would not agree, it is the obvious conclusion since you have ignored my request for evidence to support your allegation, and
it is usual internet etiquette to supply links when you posit a theory or argument to back it up.

Until the evidence is posted your comments can be described as talking out of you arse, which leads to another obvious conclusion.

LOL

It's always nice to interact with an intelligent mature mind particularly when one has been dealing with the train wrecks of emotional infantile self obsessed logic.

It boggles the mind that people who happen to have a single fetish don't realise that it doesn't make them a fetishist. The usage of the suffice "ist" implys that you are someone whose life is consumed by fetishes, simples!!! Hence I have not used the word in defining anyone in the thread, they are the ones who have been obsessed by the word. Although it would seem that at least one person here could well be diagnosed as a Fetishist. A right tongue twister. LOL

Lest silence be taken as consent, please don't take by my comments that I agree with your assessment. Please don't further your argument while quoting me and responding to me.

I was being equally disdainful of everyone, and also by implication myself because as I've said I've done this myself. Point being, there's no chance anyone's going to say "oh crap, I get your point, you're right". All you're all doing now is convincing yourselves that the other guy's an idiot and each post you read from here on in will be considered in that light.

That said, I have to acknowledge that everyone enjoys a good chew toy every now and then.. so rock on everyone. I'm also not above doing it again myself for that matter. So feel free to make me eat my words down the road; good chance I'll be giving you cause.

oh well

You wrote, "Using swear words to express oneself shows a very low level of self control and a distinct lack of linguistic knowledge."

That was written in response to someone who used WTF (which, of course, means what the Fet?)

Then you wrote this, "it is a charter to do whatever the fuck you like either with yourself or others, because Goody Goddy has already mapped out your life down to the minutest detail."

So, you are either lacking in self-control and have a distinct lack of linguistic knowledge or you're a hypocrite.

That's my take away from reading your posts.

I, myself, am a lover of the word fuck and use it often. (You will see it in my profile and, as an example, this post which is just chock full of swear words but also pretty damn funny and there may even be a grain or three of truth in it but I would let others determine whether or not such is the case.

Oh, and the 4 x's.. for my fellow forum posters - in the South that equals moonshine.

Drinks all around!

So on this site, xxxx was a sign they used at railroad to mean there was a crossed signal and to warn the trains.

It now means crossed signals when people don't communicate well.

For some reason this sounds very apropos.

http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/41843/what-does-crossed-signals-mean-in-this-context

And here are more meanings.

This old chestnut besides being fuckin rancid, is wholly untrue, since I swear any goddamn time I want to and don't give a fuck, and it is not some matter of velleity with me, but this buncombe is repeated, and I will mordantly deride this codswallow, whenever it is espoused.

No worries about that. The discussion of words can be interesting. I admit that I remain more faithful to older definitions and resources such as Websters, rather than something like the Urban dictionary. I have the same feelings regarding the word "boi". It was a term in the GLBT community long before males decided to start applying it to themselves. I guess I'm just more the type to remain with where words come from, rather than whatever new interpretation that some folks like to put on them.

There's a similar thread going now regarding the meaning of the acronym BDSM. (I believe you are on that one as well.) Always interesting.

The four xxxx's could mean you were dumped by four women for pontificating so much.
Since when have four letters indicated a sentence?

You should take advantage of LadyPact's offer of formatting lessons

I would love to take advantage of anything LadyPact offered me vs. you. I would not even take an extra x from you.
