That will be the basis for an upcoming episode of Law & Order-SVU, I would guess.. (despite the disclaimers about episodes being fictional)..

I wonder how his ex-wife found his online activity.. sorta strange she would have such easy access to it all.. She should get a reward for turning the scary dude in..

I dont think scary dude (from the article) is married now, it was his ex-wife that turned him in (which means if he is in jail he cant pay child support).. but his FB page had pics of him with a wife & kid.. so I am guessing the pics and FB page was put up before the divorce & he didnt update it???

Yup. One time I went on to the forums just out of curiousity. There are people on there who are offering themselves to anyone who will slaughter them like an animal and eat them. I'm kinda surprised this hasn't happened more often.

The story says that it was a site dedicated to this fetish so that's the only site I know of that has a forum.

Hardly. I can think of at least three off the top of my head.

Note that people on those boards are involved with fantasies, not reality, although the occasional oddball will turn up in such places, too, same as anywhere else. Most with an interest in that sort of thing will shy away from the crazies, though, even the ones that might want to go beyond fantasies. And the rational psychos will want to avoid looking in such a place, since the police absolutely keep an eye on them, as do the people running such sites (who the hell wants to be liable for something like that?).

A best guess puts the prevalence at less than one in a million actually realizing their fantasies at some point.

Compared to the number of murders for other reasons, this isn't very troubling at all.

I don't know. I find it troubling. I know the odds of running across someone this crazy are slim to none, but they are still out there. The woman he was planning to make his first victim had only had lunch with him. Sounded like she had the type of first date you are supposed to have if you're being cautious. Tho I don't know wether there were red flags in their conversations that she ignored.......
