They will do exactly like the Republicans did... they will do their best to block every proposed bill put forth by the Republicans… And continue the gridlock in Congress...And... blame all the countries woes on the opposing party... And start running for office in 2014 rather than worry about the American people.

Fucking asshole politicians.

Of course, there was that kind offer to stock crying towels for the PPLs (whoever they are). I guess that's the last gasp of "compassionate conservatism."

Well. he never told, But I think we figured it out to be pathetic pussy liberals, which is one of his better choices of words..
BUt now, theres a lot of CCC coming from the same fingertips, which I assume to mean Collarme C*** Club, Given his penchant for being such an rampant ignorer of any woman who disagrees with him in P&R
just my two cents....

Let me guess; you watch lots of TV, don't you?

Very little at all, Edwynn. I did catch this week's South Park episode, and a wee bit of storm coverage on CNN, earlier in the week.

Of course, I laugh at all sorts of things, including people who like to show off how much money their parents wasted on education...

You shouldn't pick on Romney from that standpoint. He can't help the circumstances he was born into. I don't think he's ever tried to show that off, to his credit, even if politically advantageous to steer people's attention elsewhere.

If the "parent's money" comment was directed at me ... this HS dropout's university education is all on my jobs and some pittance from Pell grants. But even supposedly well educated people still believe in politics, as they did in the Church in the past.

University education has failed in that regard, both past and present.

Theology then, political "science" now.

Tsk tsk ....

Yeah, we don't really do, "politically correct," in my house, DC. Hell, we caught some storm news in Vegas, and the wife decided her drink of the fling was going to be hurricanes.

I get being politically incorrect, and my own humor can be twisted too. When the sniper was turning Greater Washington into a supermax for civilians, I horrified folks by wondering aloud if he was taking requests.

But I do wish we could all drop the charade of being shocked, shocked to find "haters" and "bigots" on the other side of the aisle (and only there, it usually seems).

If Obama wanted my vote, again, he should have done what I wanted.

If the candidate I do not support because he doesn't support me LOSES, just exactly why should I be upset about that?

I'm not left or right. I'm a middle of the road who votes for the person who holds her ideals. If Romney wins, I'm moving far, far away or staying in bed and never coming out from under the covers.

I can tell you exactly what will happen here. Whoever the loser is, their team will be crying fraud because early voting was cancelled on the east coast due to the hurricane or that people could not get to the polls because they are still without power or they didn't have the time because they are too busy still cleaning up...whatever they can blame on Sandy.

It's always hilarious when you claim that. You are thoroughly predictable in what ideas you express at any given time and they come straight out of the right wing media.

One thing that I have learned during the course of this election is that Nate Silver of the NYT 538 blog is considered American's leading poll analyst. Having read quite a few of his blogposts, I can see why. As I write this, Silver has Obama an 81% probability to win next Tuesday, and poor hapless Mittens a mere 19% underdog.

So rather than speculate about the unlikely event of Mittens falling over the line, can I suggest that TH and his fellow Rightwingers sign up for crash courses in grief counselling. As things stand, it looks like all the weeping and gnashing of teeth will be on that side of the political divide.

You know it makes sense.

When O'dingdong and his trained monkey biden lose, the brothers must take to the streets. Now, in Detroit, one party ruled since the 50s, it might be hard to find anything to burn. Most of Detroit is already burned.

Just for you sweetie, here's a link to some qualified professional grief counsellors in your local area, which I believe is Arizona, USA.

http://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/prof_results.php?state=AZ&spec=14

BTW you do know that you can share anything that is troubling you with these people don't you? There's no need to feel embarrassed - even about the trained monkey fantasies, they're far more common than many people realise. So don't hold back hon, share every troubling thought and you will be feeling better in no time at all.

Well that's lovely, Tweak. Meanwhile, back in the real world, the economy is the single most important issue to voters, and the unemployment rate just went up.

Leftists are more concerned about issues, and rightists are more concerned about identity politics.

Take the deficit as an example. The right wing is upset about it, but if Romney is elected and fails to correct the problem, they will just cease to care about it or become delusional that it doesn't matter anymore. Take the health care mandate. Conservatives were all for this until Obama proposed it.

As for the OP:

If Romney wins, leftists will simply become much more concerned about clean air, clean water, gay rights, over-militarized foreign policy, the re-institution of torture and "water boarding," soaring deficits, a shrinking middle class, and the undo influence of Corporations and Big Money on politics.

Leftists are also worried about a return to GWB style policies that led the nation into two wars, squandered a budget surplus, and ruined the national economy.

Leftists are also curious to see how a man with no seeming core values, other than a burning desire to be President, will lead the country. Will he appoint Supreme Court Justices who repeal Roe v. Wade? Will he appoint John Bolton secretary of state? Or, will he morph into a centrist? How will foreign leaders and countries respond to a shape-shifter?

What fidelity to the public interest and the American people will Romney have in comparison to the Wealthy, Ruling, Establishment elite that wants to enrich itself?

Leftists won't be that unhappy that Obama is voted out because he's really been very conservative during the term of his Presidency and his style of leadership is technocratic pragmatism. Healthcare reform is the one exception.

We've already seen how the right reacts...with peaceful protests/assemblies and other political mobilization. Given the entitlement mentality of the socialist left as well as acrimony over supposed historical injustices, I wouldn't be surprised to see a much less peaceful response if the election were to be lost.
