My state doesn't have early voting and my polling place didn't have "Voted" stickers. I voted this AM and had a surprisingly short wait.

voted. Went early enough that I was only about 15th in line (would have been there earlier, but I got lost trying to find the place).

I imagine you sped to the polls, that's one on ya right there.

But I was under the impression that MA was not a contest, it was a NO ROMNEY NO WAY state.  MA having already read the book and seen that movie.

Never missed an election since I was 18.

Me neither...in fact it was kinda cool to get to vote in high school. I personally believe that if you don't exercise your right to vote, then you have no reason to complain. I prefer to vote at the polling place for atmosphere too.

There's no contest for the Presidential election here in MA, but I wanted to vote for Elizabeth Warren for Senate, Yes to the three ballot initiatives, and for a number of candidates who are not of national interest.

So the big vote is for the President. Many of you also have props to vote for. What other positions are you voting for? Our Canadian system is so much simpler, I think. But I do like that you get to vote for your choice of president. Here, the leader of whatever party wins the most seats becomes Prime Minister.

Good luck to you all.

Oh, and Michigan, please vote no to prop 6. One multi billionaire should not have the right to control access between our coutries.

I'm here in the UK. I think today is when the whole world discovers just how batshit crazy Americans really are.

Considering the dysfunctional governments the UK has elected over the last generation, and the current ineffectual hermaphrodite political coalition government lead by the Etonite dandy, the English have little room to speak about any other nation's elections.

Woke up this morning and turned on CNN,it's been on all day...somewhere about mid-afternoon I decided I will never again do early voting.
It's like opening up Xmas presents a week early,in other words it sucks....I had no sense of elation that you get at the polling place when everyone is out(when I went last week,I was the only voter in the place at that time) exercising their franchise.I have no "I voted" sticker(lost the one I got last week) I feel like I am sitting this out.
Never again.

Here Obama is seen as the certain winner. You can not event make bets on any different result, even among those who wager on anything.
