Hi all, So, I am really interested in rope, and all of the things that can be done to me with it. However, I am also interested in not permanently injuring myself in the search for pleasure. So, I am asking for advice, guidlines, sources of information, to help educate me on the possible dangers involved. I'm sure that this topic has come up in the past, and I have read over some of the older posts, but I wanted to bring this topic back. Are there things that I should not let someone do (or not do for prolonged times)? I know that there are positions that are more dangerous to keep someone in for long durations, but I don't know what those positions are. I am a sub, so I won't be the one doing the tying, but I would like to know whether someone is doing something (I would hope unknowingly) that might have long term effects on my health. I am in Toronto, so if anyone has info on sessions/classes in the area, I would love to find out more about them. Do the rope sessions let people like me in (subs that aren't so much interested in how to tie someone up, but want to know how to stay safe when someone else is tying you up)? How do I find out about these? I've had people mention things like nerve points and preasure points to me. Are there any early symptoms that I (or any sub being bound) should be aware of? How can you tell if a binding is not good for you? Thanks lts
