Fischer said that God could have protected the victims of this massacre, but didn't because "God is not going to go where he is not wanted" and so if school administrators really want to protect students, they will start every school day with prayer: As a church lady myself, I gotta say it's hard to imagine respecting, much less loving, a God who'd shrug off the slaying of 20 kids, not to mention all the adults killed as well and the shattered families left behind, in a fit of pique over school prayer.
