^ true that. Euphemisms are to guise sensitive subjects like death, sex etc. Like:

Kick the bucket
Polishing the hood ornaments
Pinching the peaches
Pumping the prop shaft
Grabbing Magellan’s prize
Shaving the badger
Squeezing the lemon
Choking the chicken

And etc

Most of the euphemisms I hear tend to be 'nice' ways to describe bodily functions...

Powder my nose
Shake hands with the baby's daddy
wring out a kidney

or...

going to lay a cable
going to drop the kids off at the pool
going to squeeze a malteser

On second thoughts, none of these is really nicer than the real meaning! [8D]

"Sprinkling the lawn" (peeing).
"Pam and her 5 sisters" (a man's wank-hand).
"He bought it" (died).
"A bun in the oven" (pregnant).
"Up the duff" (as above).
"A bicycle made for 6" (the local tart).
"Getting his leg over" (having sex).
"Getting his end away" (as above).
"Out to lunch" (of somewhat reduced mental capacity).
"Away with the fairies" (as above).
"Dancing on pink silk" (female masturbation).
