Ok. What you have is a big mess, that can easily get messier. I think the best thing to do would be to contact Social Security with the good news that your bf is moving in with you, effective March 1. Report his little bit of income from there forward, and, since he helps around the premises in exchange for rent, make clear that he does not contribute monetarily to that. If this creates a minor reduction in your benefits, find a way to adjust, but at least you'll be out of the active fraud category. That is where you are right now. With the income level you are stating he has, you should be basically fine. Of course, if he uses your family's address as his mailing address, and on his driver's license, and has been since the two of you came together, then I would say you need to speak with an SSI attorney who knows his stuff, before you do anything.
