That's pretty much exactly how it is. It's different for everyone, and a person can experience very different types.

I have had this same experience after hours and hours of orgasms. It took me about 12 hours to fully recover. Just a tip...I find that the more hydrated that I am before and during a scene the less this happens. It could be that simple for you too.

One of my subs will sometimes turn ice cold, so cold that I can feel it when I touch him; and he starts to shiver violently. He is less alert at this time, although he will respond to me, I've learned that he is not to be trusted when I ask him if he is OK. He described this to me as what happens when he goes into subspace, but I believe he is actually going into shock, and I'm afraid that it's potentially life-threatening, as shock is a medical emergency. My opinion is that for him shock happens shortly after he reaches subspace...I'm hoping that I can learn to keep him in subspace while avoiding the dangerous shock. And for the record...this happened the very first time we sessioned together...I think we were on a special wavelength, but it certainly wasn't because I knew him well. It's only after 8 months of playing that I've again helped him reach that zone. One time I was not causing him any pain whatsoever, so I don't believe it's strictly related to endorphin overload. It really is a mental state, and I think his body interprets it as "we're losing it!" and so it begins to shut down all non-essential functions. I am not a medical professional (although I am a certified emergency medical dispatcher and was TOLD by my trainers that I am a medical professional...), so please don't take anything I've said as medical fact. I am merely relating what I've observed and what I've concluded.

well... i know that i get cold and shivery after an intense ...escapade...*giggles* and I have lost bits of time
before...never huge blocks but bits here and there... *shrug*

I would be very concerned if I'd "lost" that amount of time in subspace. I can maintain the feeling of euphoria for several days after an encounter with my Dom, but I have never lost time. I feel all warm, happy, giggly...never cold. As others have said, it sounds like you experienced shock. But I'm glad you are alright. Do take care.
