I'm saying (which I know doubt you already realize, but love to be argumentative), is that no child should grow up and find out they were so unimportant to their mother that she sought someone to kill her rather than be a mother to them.

well, I think that's the problem there is always when you meet people on the internet... but there she should have been more careful... he had explained his ill fantasies...

I believe the death fantasies were not just his. She was looking for someone to kill her, and found him.

I'm very comfortable stigmatizing the fantasizing of murdering people. Anybody who needs to think about killing people to get a chubby is sick.

I'm not particularly comfortable with stigmatizing anyone for what they keep in their heads.

The problem here, it seems to me, is they didn't keep it there.

Before I belonged to CM there was a wonderful thing called Usenet. It is probably still around in some format, but it's not active as it was in the early days of the internet. I met a wonderful former Master on a board called alt.torture. I occasionally recognize posters here and on other sites from that board.

There were a lot of very dark fantasies. The accepted rule was, if you were posting something that there was no safe way to do, (like chopping someone up, for instance), it had to be clear you were posting a fantasy. If you claimed to have done the impossible in real life (like held your sub underwater for 5 minutes to teach her a lesson) the regulars would tear you apart and call you our for a liar. I was always comfortable with this distinction. Fantasy is fantasy, keep reality as safe as possible.

I have been restrained in a standing position with a noose. The noose was made with a slip knot and the other end was attached to a hook that would have come loose from the wall had I fell forward, and my Master was close at hand. But if you don't think about hanging someone, why do you find playing with a noose sexy? As long as it's all in your head, it'a all good.

I have done gunplay (in ways I consider safe). obviously the fantasies that are fueling that play are pretty dark. But that's what they are - fantasies. The problem, as Aswald said, is not even when you role play them, as safely as you can - but when you decide to go live with the whole fantasy, to someone else's harm. I'm not a believer in thought crimes. What's in your head should not be held against you, if you manage it well on your own.

I am sorry for the family's loss. Unfortunately as players and some of being edge players, its up to us personally to use good judgement and common sense. If you discuss a scene with a prospect, its up to you ro decide how far things will go.

On fet I was approached by an edge player who listed temperature control as a fettish. I like the muscle cramps I can get from too much ice and I like being in a sauna or a very heated condition and walking out into cool or warm temperatures. There is a body high like no other.

But when I was approached and asked if I would sit in a tub of ice, lie still on a table and not move or speak until released to do so, while the partner fondled my body, I declined.

My gut instinct told me this person may have had a necrophilia fettish and that's not my thing. I was concerned about this person's mental state and forwarded the personal messages to the people who manage fet. I also deleted my account because I was very nervous the person may find my account.

That being said, my temperature control fettish has been turned down so many times because dominants consider it dangerous.

These people were both crazey to attempt something so dangerous, someone lost their life, and unfortunately this reflects negetives on the community as a whole. Dominants its this type of media that makes you have to dig through a lot of submissive profiles because the subs are afraid to meet.

Submissives this is exactly why some dominants look like predators and why so many people are single.

The media can cause a surge of mass paranoia this way. They don't care. They write these stories for shock value. And then we wonder why we are sitting at hokme alone for yet another weekend!

So you are saying that anyone who for ever reason have killed someone they should all die? What about this guy in Denmark, his wife got raped and when the rapist was out of jail he begun harassing his wife, nearly driving her to suicide so the husband killed him to protect his wife, should he die? What about someone who kill someone by accident, what about a teenage brawl gone wrong and someone break their neck should all the rest be killed?

You can not just blame him, she shared those fantasies and left a goodbye note to her husband so she knew exactly what she was going to. You can not blame this on meeting someone on the internet. People meet one another on the internet by the millions every day. I mean are you going to say walking on the sidewalk is wrong for there have been rare cases of someone falling and breaking their necks?

I assume then that you never watch action movies or read spy novels or anything like that that and you never get engaged in such moves and see yourself as the dashing secret agent who single handedly takes down a whole mafia chapter, you never daydream of fighting having some action, slaying the bad guy and saving some damsel in distress? For really that is murder fantasies. I mean I have often after I have read a book sat on the bus and fantasied about meeting the main character and going off on some adventure together an often those adventures involves swords, magic guns and whatever else and fighting often resulting in the bad guy's death, and those kind of fantasies is quite normal, I would go so far as to say most people have gone on missions with Bond, danced with Dracula and so on whatever movies they like in their head and had a fight by their side as well and there is nothing wrong with that as long as one know the difference between fantasy and reality.
