In film it may be fake, it may not. Some folks in this thread said they'd done this.

There's no reason to think that the "punishments" shown in elitepain and mood pictures films aren't real. There is at least 1 account online from a top who worked with mood, and blogged about his experience http://rohrstockpalast.blogspot.co.uk/2009/02/hungarian-hostel.html

I personally know at least 1 person who has worked on a Lupus film, and their canings look to be of a similar severity to the ones elite/mood dish out. Lupus do not fake their canings,

Contrary to what peppermint said, I'd say somewhere around 1/3 of porn is highly realistic (it's just people having sex, kinky or otherwise), while 1/3 is "production" porn from the likes of southern california (so it's highly unrealistic).

I haven't seen the middle 1/3 yet!

I think there are a bunch of ways to fake a caning or whipping, which almost all production movies do.
I agree that the Dr. Lomp EP films seem real (blood and welts).

What I hate is the british style of canings, where, for every 1 lash, there are fifteen or twenty preparatory almost not-hitting taps, which bore me to tears.
