I'm interested in having some sort of slave feed or "chow", like a dog chow. A mix that contains all of the nutrients a slave needs to stay healthy and strong. Something easy for slave to prepare in bulk batches so that most of slave's time and focus can be on serving its Owner, not on having to think about feeding itself.

Does anyone have any experience with the above? Any advice or knowledge that would help me do it properly?

Hell, why not just order pizza? Or chinese take out? I vote for that.

I agree, this thread is pretty WTF'ish lol. OK so I'm cooking pasta for him...I can certainly cook enough for two, after all, I cook enough so he can have leftovers for lunch. Or chicken. Or a roast. Or...well...pretty much anything. You know, anything HEALTHY. With veggies and nutrition and essentials like that. So yanno, he tells me what he wants for dinner and me, well I cook for two-plus, cuz I'm smart like that. No extra time, no extra thinking. Cool how that works out.

The whole idea seems like a big wank to me...
But for shits and giggles I'll post a few health
points:
- Army rations: almost always have an obsene
amount of sodium which gives me headaches,
so does over consumption of spam.

-Soylent green: may be an old reference but
any movie buff worth their salt shouldn't have
a problem understanding.

-Ishtar: I'm surprised you haven't mentioned
slave gruel.
A hypothetical recipe for something like that
could be a pack of oats mixed in with soy milk,
it would be bland and boring as fuck, but
should meat a lot of dietary requirements.
And it should in theory make hard manageable
poops, something to consider if all you have to
work with is a handful of straw from the floor
of your slave pen.

Yeah...even the slaviest slave wants some real food after a while. Corned beef hash -- the Hormel kind -- definitely looks and smells like dog food before it's cooked, I agree. Wouldn't wanna clean up that slave's feces though. Can you say "diarrhea"?

It's where my mind went, especially considering that I've made my own version of it before, and have a recipe I use.

However, I'm not sure that this guy is actually just wanking off on the idea, and I think he may actually use this in practice. I'm not a dietician, and I don't have any knowledge on whether or not my recipe would be anything close to nutritionally balanced enough for a human being to use for prolonged periods of time. I'd personally never use it for more than a few week maximum, for certain long-term extreme play scenarios, but I can't be sure that by posting it, he's not actually going to plummet a person into a cliff of malnutrition by putting them on it for months at a time, so I chose not to risk posting it.

I've researched dietary needs and supplements enough that my recipe is probably balanced enough to take a whole long time for vitamin and mineral deficiencies to become bad enough that it would lead to malnutrition, but I don't want to be indirectly responsible if that's not the case, and this guy goes overboard with it.

like someone down below suggested, I say try any liquid diet plan. Nutrisystem, Weightwatchers, ect all have some overly sweet, overly creamy, caloric crap infused with vitamins. Toss in a can of beef stew for one of those meals to add some bulk.

If this is just something for an extended scene - a few days maybe - you could look up recipes for home-made emergency rations. In England you can buy army-approved 24-hour ration kits which are pretty balanced and convenient but would be expensive to do every day.

Mayday Industries makes an emergency food bar in 400, 1200 and 2400 calorie sizes.

Many people cannot tolerate soy. And a solely soy and oats diet would be lacking in vitamins and minerals usually derived from fruits and vegetables.

But by trying to dream this up ahead of time he's not taking into account the individual's needs. If she has a physically demanding job, she'll need more calories, more protein.

When my dog was sick and having digestive problems the vet had me make her a chicken and rice feed. It was chicken breast I cut into small cubes and cooked in a pan. Then I boiled white rice with peas, small bits of carrot, and low sodium chicken stock. After that I combined it all. As I was making it I thought to myself all it needed was salt, paper, garlic and maybe a little onions or chives. I could just see us both eating it together. I made a huge batch that I put in Tupperware and kept in the refrigerator. It lasted her about a week.

Well, I have had some really great success with slave feed along the following lines:

Filet, medium rare: Tenderloin wrapped in applewood smoked bacon. The ultimate in tenderness. 7oz or 10oz
Twice Baked Potato (contains bacons bits)
Cesar Salad: Crisp romaine and aged Parmesan cheese in our creamy dressing.
Butter Tart: A mini version of a decadent classic, with vanilla ice cream.
Fudge Brownie: Warm brownie with vanilla ice cream. Finished with caramel, hot fudge and whipped cream.
Passion Brulée: Passion fruit infused crème brulée, with a caramelized crust.

As near as I could tell this diet served all the needs of my slave girl and took very little time for her to prepare (the chef in the restaurant probably took longer but you didn't ask about him). My slave reports "she wants more".

First of all it's not. Making a large batch of dry slave gruel, fortified with dried fruits, protein powder and dietary supplements, and then adding a little hot water/milk on the spot is a whole lot faster than cooking a meal for somebody.

Secondly, a whole bunch of things we do for kink reasons would be a done a whole lot quicker if we did them the "normal" vanilla way.

So what are you suggesting? That just because this happens to not be your kink, he's an idiot, because there may be some way for him to attain his goal faster if he leaves off the kinky parts of it?

What if the kink of making her eat slave feed IS the goal? How would it then be quicker for him to attain his goal by skipping it all together?

Do you -general you- ever try to consider the idea that other people may have different kinks and turn ons than yourself before you go an imply they're idiots because their kinks might possible be impractical?

I get what you're saying here. I think what threw me (and possibly others) is this statement from the OP:

Something easy for slave to prepare in bulk batches so that most of slave's time and focus can be on serving its Owner, not on having to think about feeding itself.

For me, it would take extra time to prepare a big vat of slave-slosh food in addition to cooking his own tasty meal for him. So for me, the concept doesn't work. Plus, it's more healthy to eat a variety of food, rather than the same thing every day. So while tossing some boiled chicken, brown rice, and steamed broccoli in a food processor with a little herbs/seasonings and broth sounds healthy, eating it day after day for every meal is not the best idea. I suppose they could make a variety of different sloshes like that and freeze them, but somewhere in that mix it would be nice to get some fresh fruits and vegetables, perhaps as in-between snacks.

My point is that I'm not seeing how any of this reduces the slave's focus on him/herself. It's an additional chore - as now some thought, planning and prep needs to go into the slave's feed in addition to meal planning and preparation for the owner. I'm not necessarily knocking the idea, just saying it's adding work, rather than eliminating it.

Ok, you've piqued my curiosity. Ishtar, I'd be
interested to see the recipe for your slave gruel!
I don't want to scrutinise the nutrition of it or
anything, just legitimately curious.

If it's a secret recipe, you can send me a CMail if
you want. I wont tell anyone.

To touch on something similar to what Nueva
mentioned...
Some of my comments back there may have come
across like I was dismissing the idea that discretion
over dietary matters could play a meaningful part
in the realm of D/s.

Just to re-address that. The derision I voiced
A la Wank was more as a result of me not
really taking the OP seriously.

I don't mind posting it here at this point, I don't think the OP has been back to check on this tread anyways.

The following is for an adult female with a caloric need of 2000kcal a day to maintain weight.
For a male, or a female with different caloric needs the recipe should obviously be adapted.

For every complete day, mix a batch of dry ingredients with following:

- 3 cups of quick oats
- 3 tbs of unflavored protein powder (double if they're doing hard physical labor while on this diet)
- 3 scoops of total nutrition drink powder
- 1 cup of dried apricots
- 1/2 cup of dried prunes
- 1/2 cup of raisins

To cook, for every complete day add:

- 2 cups of whole milk
- 1-2 cups of water

After cooking stir in:

- 1 tbs flax oil

Cook all together like oatmeal into a much. Let cool.
Will hold in the fridge for up to 4 days easily (I've never made a batch larger than 4 days).

Total prep time for a 4 day batch is about 5 minutes, total cook time about 10-15 minutes.

To serve, take out of fridge fill a bowl with about 2.5-3.5 cups worth, 2-3 times a day. Insist they finish the full meal each time you serve. If you're feeling especially generous add a tablespoon of brown sugar on top and/or eating utensils.

I also add a daily multivitamin, but that's a requirement of mine regardless of whether they're currently on this diet or not.

It gives you a nutritional profile that looks like this:

Edited to add:

I used to have another version that replaced the dried fruits with a dietary fiber powder and higher dosages of the nutritional drink powder, but I found out that, to get all the nutrients/fiber required it's too big of an adjustment for the slave's bowls and you end up with either blockages or heavy diarrhea. It may settle out after a while to make it viable to ditch the fruits completely, but I don't intend to ever use it long enough to see if a person could actually adjust to it. Considering that a lot of people nowadays don't have as much fiber as recommended in their day to day diet, this amount of fiber may already be too much, in which case I'd recommend halving portions on the fruits for a couple of days, and slowly reintroducing more.

Either way, even with the dried fruits added, it's certainly bland and unappetizing, and despite being high enough in calories, never quite enough in portion size to be fully satisfying. Considering that I only use it to add extra flair to certain punishment/role play scenarios it serves its purpose well.

It doesn't add extra work. It takes less than 20 minutes to prepare 12 meals, with most of that time being cook time, which can be done simultaneously to cooking the owner's meal.

Doubling up the meal made for the owner adds prep time and sometimes cook time, for every single meal which, unless the owner is only eating microwave tv dinners, far exceeds the time prepping a separate meal for the slave in bulk. Depending on the meal in question, just cleaning and prepping vegetables for a single person for a single meal can take about as long as preparing a batch of bulk slave feed for a couple of days.

I do agree with you that a monotone diet is not something anybody should be on for long periods of time, and that trying to figure a diet like this to have a slave on indefinitely would be a bad idea. The only way I'd even consider attempting that is if the diet in question is cleared by a doctor and a nutritional expert. However, for short, to medium long terms (I'm thinking up to a month or two) a monotone diet shouldn't be an issue, providing it's somewhat nutritionally balanced. People trying to lose weight diet on all kinds of crazy diets for longer than that, mostly without any ill effects.
