Leaving New Jersey is the best thing I've done in years.
See what he said. i just want to know why.
I never wanted to go back to New Jersey to begin with but, at the time (1998), my youngest was only ten years old and the woman who gave birth to him wanted to go back. I didn't want to be a 2,000 mile away father so, I had a choice to make.
New Jersey is a great place from which to leave. It's over-taxed, over populated, and the second state (that I'm aware of) to violate one of the basic founding principles of our country ("Taxation without representation").
With my youngest almost 25 years old, It was time for me to get out of that hell hole. My landlord, selling the building to an even greedier landlord just helped to accelerate the process.
Peace and comfort,
