Of course not.
But it's "ok" to bug every U.S, Citizen's phone? Computer?

Why not? The government bought 1/2 of them!

I would not be surprised if there were a stipulation they had to agree with before they gave it to them.

So, to sum this all up....

There should be complete transparency on things YOU think the American people need to know?

This would apply to agency creation and policy to be used for the most part in american governance et al and regarding the inhabitants of america.

no referendum, no representation. Not real difficult.

the point is that you have no say (representation) in agency programs you are subjected to, period!

you consented to be governed one time and now they

on you for the rest of your life.

Hey sounds like the difference between submission and slavery on the other side! Funny people add it up differently in politics.

LMAO

Isnt our government based upon representation?

Arent the only laws that has to be given approval by a majority of the population, by constitution, amendments?

Btw, the ERA is back up for consideration.

Hell the inhabitants never got to vote in any constitution or on any amendment!

If you have the goods showing otherwise by all means post it.

The indoctrination centers we call schools forgot to teach that little bit of trivia it seems.

has nothing to do with the inhabitants, just commerce, and no referendum exists.

I`m sorry but it is.

And as Lindy Gramm ,one of those reps put it yesterday, not 500 and some odd reps know every detail about every program, that`s what committees are for.

They were informed and there was transparency...

And no info obtained by the program could be used unless it met a FISA court approval

PRISM Program: Obama Administration Held 22 Briefings For Congress On Key FISA Law

Obama administration officials held 22 separate briefings or meetings for members of Congress on the law that has been used to justify the National Security Agency's controversial email monitoring program, according to data provided by a senior administration official.

According to the official, the sessions that took place over the course of 14 months starting in October 2011 touched on Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Amendments Act, which gives the attorney general and director of national intelligence the authority to gather intelligence on non-U.S. citizens for up to one year. Section 702 has been cited by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper as the legal basis for the NSA's PRISM program, which has allowed the government to track email communication data.

The Guardian and The Washington Post revealed the existence of the PRISM program and another data-monitoring action last week. In defending PRISM from criticism, Clapper stated that U.S. citizens were not, and are not, targeted for the data dragnet. He and others have also insisted that Congress has had ample opportunity to review the program and provide feedback.

Oh ffs... 66% of the population is of voting age. And you want over 200 million people to go to the polls each time a vote is needed for a law.

Talk about a massive fucking waste of money. Thats why we vote people into office.

Article I of the Constitution states "all legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives." The House and Senate are equal partners in the legislative process—legislation cannot be enacted without the consent of both chambers.

Now, we all know you dont like the constitution. but its just gonna have to suck to be you. until its changed, you are gonna have to deal with it.

Oh so then they really ARE IN FACT gathering information completely indiscriminately and WITHOUT PROBABLE CAUSE to be stored and used when its convenient.

and you do not see a problem with that?

you still dont get it

this not difficult

when you hire an attorney to REPRESENT you..... YOU TELL THE ATTORNEY what you want.

When you have a representative in government to speak on your behalf in a parliamentary court concerning how you are to be governed the ONLY WAY YOU CAN TELL THEM HOW TO VOTE IS BY REFERENDUM AND YOUR VOTE!

so clean your glasses and read it slowly!

See if you do not tell them, then they are ruling you, and this is not a democracy then is it, and you would suck as a citizen and fail your fellow citizens because instead of being a part of the citizenry you sat on your ass and let some official simply DICTATE for you and us whatever the hell they wanted to push through as law which incidentally is exactly the way its done.

An attorney cant plead your case (represent you) if they have no clue how you plead, how the hell do you expect some legislator to plead your case without your vote telling them what you want?

No referendum, no vote no representation, not real difficult.

Just a bunch of dictators you probably call leaders.

No not a waste of money! Not what so ever, so you prefer dictators then so be it.

your constitution post is completely off point and irrelevant btw.
