When they try to be mysterious/obscure.... When they write in capital letters. When they say they expect obedience from the get go. When their rants in their journals are longer then their actual profile. When they're experts on absolutely everything in the interests column. Oh you said one thing right....my bad [:)]

You know, I got so many stupid messages. Still do, I guess people are into pink horses these days? I finally found out what a unicorn was here after tons of ridiculous messages involving them. I got annoyed one day by picture requests and found the glitteriest most obnoxious one. If thats all I am, a childish unicorn, then here ya are, a big pink freaking unicorn. Its fitting anyway, I like sparkly things and I definetely have young girl tendencies. ;)

Discreet/discrete, cock shot, and, for a man seeking a woman - using a picture/drawing of a woman as his main profile picture or have an unbalanced amount of pictures of women. I don't mind a few action shots like what LadyPact has, but, like she does, I'd like to see more pictures of the person than their handiwork.

When I was single, I avoided those with profiles saying they were looking for anything discreet. To me, the word discreet screams cheating on significant other.

Honestly? I have gotten some disgusting and nasty first emails, like today for example, from profiles that seemed perfectly normal and containing none of the offending words people are mentioning. I don't think any profile can give you a clue as to how evil, stupid or vicious people can be. One of the myriad wonderful things about being online.

When we first put our profile up here, I worked very hard on it. I carefully chose the words to really reflect how we are and to try to be both honest and hopefully appealing. At some point a few years back, a local couple stole my profile text and pasted it into their profile word for word with only the names changed. I was so disgusted. I emailed them and told them I saw it and asked them to take it down immediately. They actually had the gall to try to convince me they wrote it first. I just blocked and hid them and deleted most of our profile so no one would think I had indeed copied them. Honestly, I've just never felt the desire to fill it back out since then. This plagiarizing couple are big in the local scene and apparently are thought of as great folks. If that's the kind of lying cheaters running the local munches, no thanks to meeting the locals. We'd rather take our chances off-site. I just stay here mainly for the boards and to do some browsing on the other side very infrequently.........luci
