When people see that some posts were yanked for offenses that were allowed to stand in other threads, they complain that the Mods are corrupt, biased, and generally unsavory examples of human beings. Whereupon, of course, it is explained for the zillionth time that the Mods are only volunteers who are doing their best, that they are not salaried staff who are paid to watch the site 24/7 reviewing every post, and that violations need to be reported. Then, when people report violations, the whining starts about debate being stifled.

Sometimes I think I could make a fortune selling diapers around here.

If that was an insult I am a victim of character assassination many times over and have never filed a complaint.
Some people are really touchy I had complaints filed by two of the most offensive people I have talked too both when I responded in kind.
