This was a pretty interesting thread to stumble upon and it made me realize something when trying to come up with reasons that im phat.  Im not sure I *am* phat right now.  I didnt always feel that way, but I dont feel phat right now. and I didnt even realize it until just now.

What I *find* phat....A man who needs not pronounce or flaunt his dominance in order to touch  me with it.  That subtle beautiful thing that just comes through from a certain man that just makes me need to stop dead in my tracks and yield to him.  Its rare, but when I see it, I know it without a doubt.

I am PHAT because I am:  kind, loving, fiercely loyal, a good mommy, a good daughter, a good sister, a good friend, and a good partner and lover to my wonderful Master.  I have a huge heart that grows with each new person that enters and touches my life.  I am also PHAT because I LOVE to communicate with others, doesn't matter if I don't speak your native language - I will try to learn it (have 3 under my belt so far, and one of them is very obscure, but people of that country I know get mushy when I make my way through it, lol).  I am also a very bright woman and have been able to come back from some very severe breaking points where I (and others) thought I was going to snap from the circumstances, but thank God, I persevered.  I am PHAT also because I have family and friends who love me, just the way I am, despite my many shortcomings.  I am also PHAT because, like maybemaybenot, red hair and freckles are my trademark now where they used to be the source of unbelieveable torment years ago in school. 

Things and those I find PHAT are: Men, the genuine kind.  The ones like my father's generation - hard working, family-oriented, do-what-it-takes-to provide-for-your-family Men, Men of faith.  Stand up and fight for your country Men.  Men of honor, self discipline, respect, and who cherish and protect their women and children.  I love big, strong Men, tall, shaved heads are quite appealing to me.  In general, I love people who are honest, fun-loving, intelligent, loyal, trustworthy, have a good sense of humor, and people who aren't afraid to be different, even if it sets them apart from the "in" crowd.  If the drummer in your head is beating that loudly, just listen to the rhythm and dance by yourself.

I'm phat because I still lead with my heart even when i know it may not be wise, and because I believe treating with others respect is all about  who I am rather than who they are and  because I never sugar coat the truth or hold a grudge.
What  i think is phat is personal  Integrity , a sense of humor  the courage to be vulunerable and  the ability to be totally present in the moment.. oh yeah  and looking like Loki helps too....wg

I'm PHAT because I'm funny, intelligent, honest, loyal, an incredibly good cook, fairly talented in a wide variety of the arts, exceptionally creative, always inquisitive, highly masocistic, have a strong sense of Ethics and Integrity, a high sense of self worth and self acceptance, and I'm not half bad to look at depending on one's tastes.
 
What I find PHAT is humor, intelligence, honesty, integrity, compassion, consistancy, creativity of some form, a strong sense of personal responcibility, a sadistic streak a mile wide, self assurance, and a lack of overweaning ego.  It doesn't hurt if I personally find them easy on MY eyes - though I could care less whether they're considered Conventionally good looking.

What I find phat is one who is serious when it's called for... (jobs.. etc..).... and playful and fun when relaxed and enjoying life. Tall... and adventurous a plus..... prefers hanging with friends and family at home.. camping... fishing.. not at the bar. One that is gentleman.. treats me like a lady... but doesn't need to show off for me by trying to prove to be some billy bad ass. One that likes intelligent conversations...and good comedies.... snuggling on the couch watching a movie over paying stupid high prices for theaters. One that learns quickly... that it's not material things that get my attention... it's the little things... a note.. a call... a single flower... a hug just because. Yep sounds mushy... but there's more to life than submission... and being serious 24/7 for this one...

this is great . why I'm phat: honest say it as I see it kinda guy .. love making people laugh . been told I am ruggedly handsome<not making that up either>  serious when I need to be . Sadistic Bastard hmmm thats it I think
 
what I consider phat .. honest . funny .... charm ... the eyes ... intelligence ... able to stand up for your beliefs.

What I find PHAT... Intelligence, Strength of Character, Strong will, and reasonably athletic. Although I am crippled up I still like to get out and wander for hours even if I am on sticks. I like primitive living and would like someone that enjoys wandering off with me and foraging and camping.




I'm PHAT because I am compassionate, loyal, funny, intelligent, gorgeous, can cook up a storm, loving, caring and a MOM....
 
What I find PHAT is intelligence, honesty, compassion, humor, strength, caring, can cook on a bbq...LOL and most of all must me a CANCER.......that is why Sir is PHAT  :)

Hmmm...some days I have a hard time thinking of anything that could make me be considered "phat"...however, today, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I'm phat because I'm caring, loving, attentive, understanding, loyal...a good cook, a good friend, a faithful Christian, and all in all a decent person. Hmm, that made me smile a bit!

1st) I don't really think I am.... I'm just Me.

2nd) Intelligence (not arrogance), Respect (not doormat behavior), Being Spirited (not bratty), Humor, Obedience, Sexiness (and that goes deeper than just looks... but looks are a big part of it, along with everything else previously listed)

Hmm...  well, they do say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I suppose phatness would be as well.  So here's what I've thought of, and ymmv. 
 
I'm fairly intelligent, I'm reasonable (and am learning to be moreso over time), and I like to have fun.  My sense of humor can be a little wacky, but some people like that.  I'm honest and I don't play games with people's minds.  When you talk to me, what you see/hear is what you get.  I enjoy being active physically and trying new things. Oh, and when I get excited about something (in my case, it's usually nature) it's contagious.  My joy is so transparent and effervescent that I might as well be 5 years old.  Pup loves that about me.
 
What do I consider to be phat?  Intelligence combined with both passion and compassion.  Someone who considers the possible effects of their words and actions before the fact rather than after.  Firm, but gentle and loving.  Affection and friendship are vital.  Mutual interests - if he doesn't love animals and enjoy hiking or camping, it probably won't work.  Honesty is important.  A love of learning is phat.  A stagnant mind is a boring and closed mind.

I'm PHAT because I've learned from my mistakes, I pay it forward whenever possible, I can love someone in spite of their flaws (maybe because of them) and help them to see themselves in a better way, Once I love someone I love them forever whether we stay together or not, and I'm a pretty terriffic person to be around.
 
Qualities I consider to be PHAT in another person are, selflessness, adventurous, giving, supportive, and I looove a bubble butt....

Great thread mate!  Hat's off to something stimulating from all the humdrum rehash that's here.  The thread that seemed to stimulate you- well I passed on visiting  that for this reason;  My Wild's sistersub was beautiful but not destined to be part of an extended W/we - nothing but what is contrary on the inside should be reason to exclude another from friendship.  Prejudging simply by looks  is a sad indictment on why this world is constantly in conflict.  

Now, my being PHAT,  I constantly learn, live setbacks with a smile, can converse on most subjects, delight in my 'James Dean head askew look' and LOVE relating to others with glasses '1/3 plus full'!

What is PHAT:
A mirror of me.
Anyone that accepts my outlandish behaviour.
Anyone that can SEE that apparent instantaneous humour is actually intentioned.
A person who can reduce me to losing my train of thought.
A person who can laugh at themselves.
A person who doesn't talk of ethics but acts ethically.

The first part I don't know because I know I don't see me the way everyone else does but I can answer the second part.

There are qualities wether it be male or female that get to me everytime.
Intelligent and witty without being mean is a lethal combo for me.
Self confidence without arrogance.
Willingness to admit being wrong.
Honesty.........I hate being bullshitted
Honour.
Manners.
Lack of judgement of others.
Someone that does well in a multitude of social settings........plays well with others and gets along well with all sorts.
Overall strength of character.

In a woman
There is a combination of femininity with a little willingness to get messy I love.
That perfect combination of naughty innocence.
Knows what she wants......ME[;)]


In a man.......yessssssssss I do still find some men disgustingly yummy[:'(]
This is alot more touchy cuz there are several sorts I end up attracted to for different reasons

Sometimes the adorable shy younger guys just make me want to take them home and edumacate them

and before I became totally disallusioned
I had a vision of what I suppose would be considered a Dom

very John Wayneish in some ways
someone that I could not bully or push around but in a way that would make me WANT to
someone that would in essense walk the walk rather than just blow alot of hot air and end up needing rescued
A guy that would lead by earning respect and by example rather than beating his chest and demanding
Lack of need to constantly argue who is right and "win" all the time

Hope my blabbing made some sort of sense because I am out of time and running late for a meeting!
