Enders' Game hits theaters this November.

I've been waiting a long time to see this movie. It's great it wasn't made before the special effects could keep up. It's great they picked Harrison Ford, I think he will be able to handle it. Especially if he watches a Jack Nicholson movie every night for a week beforehand. It's great Orson Scott Card is co-producing.

If you trust me, then just see the movie. Don't read the book or the Wiki or see the trailers, that'l just tip you off about the plot. If you don't trust me, then check these links.

I was surprised, pleasantly, when I saw a trailer going to see the movie "Red2" (okay, I love John Malkovich and Helen Mirren, shoot me).....I am both excited and worried, because it would be easy to foul the book up turning it into a movie...(still have not found a film treatment of a Raymond Chandler novel i liked)...still, hopefully they did it justice. Harrison Ford cannot save a bad movie, alas, he and Daniel Craig are great actors, but Cowboys Vs Aliens stunk IMO.

I read the book 28 years ago. I guess I'll actually have to go see it in a theater, if I want to encourage them to make "Speaker For the Dead."

I only read ender's game, I found a lot to appreciate about the style and substance of the writing, I've been surprised that so many people liked it... Usually my tastes are pretty 'alternitive', so I'm often consigned to appreciate the things I do solo.
I'm glad you liked it.

It is a bit late to tell me not to read the book. I needed that information a couple plus decades ago. I have read it multiple times by now. And the rest in the series. I enjoy Card's writing.
