Hi All

I was interested to know of peoples views and experiences of Violet Wands. Whether they be the modern solid state ones, or the more powerful electro mechanical medical devices.

This could be anything, from receiving or giving, owning or any technical/operational questions you may have

Love them. The sound makes me freak out. The smell makes me nervous. The sight as it appoaches my body makes me quiver. It does not hurt but the combined reactions make me slip into space as soon as the energy hits me. But, I am an electro junkie, I respond to all sorts of sparks. Some people have no reaction.

Violet Wants...

... Edgar Cayce loved them.
... They are a bit on the pricey side for a hand held tesla coil
... I think they tickle.

Love them but I get selfish with them because I love the feel of them on myself and will often leave the sub craving for more whilst I use it on myself as a massge. Sex with a female is always much more fun if we use a violet wand!!

I love them. I remember a scene with a butterfly board and a violet wand...

Well, I won't go into detail, but suffice it to say that everybody who saw it remembers it too.

Fair question - what is a violet wand

Take a look on our web site at http://www.nickandmorphia.com

There are three pages of explanation and images, plus of course the rest of the site.

Any thoughts on modern ones compared to the older models? If I understand things correctly, the modern units are fairly weak compared to the old ones.

Love it. Love it a bit too much as I always end up with that sunburn feeling. But it's so worth it.

I wouldn't trust the old ones. The wiring is usually very bad and can cause the tips to explode, for the machine to overheat or even cause a fire. The wires are usually short-circuited and poorly wired.

So unless you are an expert on rewiring, I would stick with the new ones.

Thanks everyone for the views, particulary MariaB for the wonderful recommendation.

To Littlewonder, you are right, the older ones have to be fully restored by an expert before they are used. After that, with sensible use they should be fine.

To SunTzuSwe a few thoughts on modern vs older ones

Its on our web site at http://www.nickandmorphia.com but my thoughts are as follows.

All the modern solid state ones I have come across are designed for the cosmetics industry and are basically gutless. Some of these are simply bought and re branded as fetish/bdsm. Power consumption 4- 12W

The older electro mechanical ones are (mostly but not always) far more powerful and are the only ones we should spend money restoring. Power rating 20-45W

Case closed.

To everyone else, thanks for the very positive feedback and keep it up

All feedback is appreciated
