Those require a wine-based sauce to counter the innate muskiness of the meat. Parboil and skim, then grill until golden-brown.

Feline meat is a perfectly good meat for eating.
I found it funny - taken in context and the intention.

Just because certain western countries find it abhorent to dine on some animals that we have domesticated doesn't mean the rest of the world is like that.
I'm sure some of our Hindu friends scream at us for eating beef.
And before our veggie friends say to skip meat - it's proven that plants scream when we cut them yet we happily chop them up and cook them alive!

Some people take things waaay to literally and seriously.

This conversation makes me want to ask something I've wondered about for a long time...

We spend all kinds of money on animal shelters to take care of animals that may not wind up anywhere but in a gas chamber anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love the company of a good pet and respect animals in general but is it really such a bad idea to let those who would, eat all those caged cats and dogs? For the money it costs to care for them just to kill them couldn't we collect them and ship them to the Koreans a couple times a year? Just sayin'.

And just so you know, I really do feel bad that you've lost your pet. My condolences. I've lost my own in the past as well. My last one was a cat that I had for 15 years and losing him wounded me horribly. It took a few months for my brain to stop imagining seeing him running around the yard. Now that was weird.

My little buddy Highway died almost twenty years ago, and I swear I can still see his shadow now and again. I know there's a person behind the posts, too. But RJ did raise a valid, if somewhat morbid, point about the amount of throwaway animals people in this country are responsible for. For what it's worth, I feel bad for you losing your cat.
