One street away they're driving Cadillacs and you,...... you'll just have to make due with your 6 year old Chevy!
Man, that's going to SUCK for a whole bunch of people!
"You believe that shit! My layabout brother-in-law has a new condo and a baby Cadillac!"

Well, President Pantload has come up with a great idea now, "Promise Zones!"

Ha ha ha 'President Pantload." Classic zinger. Move over, Jonathan Swift, there's a new sheriff in town!

My guess is that he'll pour Taxpayer dollars not into middle class areas, not into working class areas, but into inner city areas.

Oh man. That would be awful. You know who lives in Inner Cities? Black people, that's who!

You're not even bothering to code your racism, bro.

Ever notice that,. they always mention ..."education." Funny though, I bet their "target audience" of "Promisees" couldn't give two shits about,...."education." As if mentioning,...."education" means they're,..."smart." And they'll make those announcements wearing glasses and with a shitload of *books* behind them to appear,..."smart."

Grrr....books! Buncha egghead no-goodnik COMMIE types. Looking to take money from hardworking Americans and distribute it to basketball gangs in the inner cities! Shiver me timbers it boils my blood!

I bet that in three years or so when Pantload is gone those ,...."Promise Zones" will become,..."Dead Zones."
And on Fox's The Factor with Bill O'Reilly Bill cited a study that concluded that if the gov't simply gave the money to The People they'd be 100 times better than if they put it into a "gov't program."

Ha ha ha ha Bill O'Reilly. Not even Bill O'Reilly can take Bill O'Reilly seriously anymore dude.

Why is "offices" in quotes? Are they not gonna be offices? Are they gonna be fake offices? Just a big ol' Potemkin Village of fake lawyer offices out there in the middle of Midnight Gangland?

Oh,...and I've *NEVER* seen any people of those ethnic groups playing basketball in the city parks either.

Right, that's what you meant.

Why back away from your racist dog whistling now dude? Embrace it. Bask in it. What fun is dog whistling if you then look around guiltily and jam your hands in your pockets and say "Aw shucks that wasn't what I meant!"

Well, looks like Adam Smith of Chic-fil-a fame stopped by looking for his "free" glass of ice water.
You are aware that no-one can actually "hear" a dog whistle, correct? ("Racist Dog Whistling?) lol
(your sentance structure sounds oddly familiar)
So, someone criticies a destined to failure "program" coming from President Pantload, arguably the *worst* president this country has had to endure using the words,..."inner city" and "midnight basketball" (*another* failed democratic "program") and they're a racist? If you watch the television news for a month you'll hear the term "inner city" a dozen times at least. And if you think *only blacks* live in the inner city then you better look in the mirror before calling someone else a racist.
You can't debate the merits or drawbacks of said "program" itself without calling other members, Racists?
Look Cowgirl, one of the mods told me that "the hide button is your best friend."
You're done.
And if you come back under another name you'll be done then too.

Yeah, so far you have nothing.  You don't know what it is, don't know what it does, don't know what it costs, what it is supposed to help...

So, are we talking about vacuousness and imbecility in promise zones in Boston and those who didn't even measure up to the amoebic levels or what?

Promise Zones”, located in San Antonio, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Southeastern Kentucky, and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
These areas – urban, rural, and tribal – have all committed, in partnership with local business and community leaders, to use existing resources on proven strategies, and make new investments that reward hard work. They have developed strong plans to create jobs, provide quality, affordable housing and expand educational opportunity, which we’ll help them execute with access to on-the-ground federal partners, resources, and grant preferences.
Each of these designees has a proven track record of working collaboratively; their officials work as a team with business, faith-based and non-profit organizations; and with the public to ensure that opportunity becomes real for every member of their communities.

And precisely what is wrong with attempting to foster these things in America?   How would you do it, other than posting cretinous sentence fragments, that have absolutely no sensiblility that don't even have the shameful  qualities of non-sequiturs?

I mean, other than you know some irish people in boston, and who the fuck doesn't, what discussion is there, pro and con, because I see only moronic slobbering passed off as some sort of witty repartee.

Isn't that what we've been doing for the last 200 years or so?
That doesn't sound,...."new" to me, does it sound... "new" to you?
"Promise Zone" sounds like a bunch of post pubesient kids playing spin-the-bottle and when it lines up on you and a member of the opposite sex you both go over to the..... "promise zone" and kiss until the other players tell you to stop.
It certainly doesn't sound like something adults would come up with, does it?

I guess what we have been doing for 200 years in towns like Los Angeles (which has not been in America for 200 years) isnt working, and I agree I think we should courts martial malingerers rather than pay them for their reprehensible shiftlessness in government service, that sounds like spin the bottle.

How about advertising?
They could have big billboards by the side of the road with Gene Wilder dressed as "Willy Wonka".
Maybe do a "Burma Shave" or "Wall Drugs" thing.
"Pay your bills? Bills schmills in the,....."Promise Zone!"
"Promise Zone, 50 miles ahead." "Free coffee." (FREE EVERYTHING!)"
"*GARAUNTEED* success in the,......."Promise Zone!"
I like it!

Or they could put up signs 'There are irrefutably some real serious dumbasses in the world who don't have brains enough to pour piss out of a boot, and are not shy about oversharing it with those who are.'

I would only expect promise zoners to be able to understand that advanced level of third grade English.

This week, appearing for the nutsackers in their world reknown play, "Ineptitude and Ignorance, the Nutsacker Drearm", no nutsackers, they are embarrassed, and believing that they are fooling anyone by calling themselves independant.

I don't know. If we're talking about Obummer promises and marrying that with a Willy Wonka theme, I prefer this shot (the appropriate quote appears underneath):

And, after the first ,..."Promise Zone" is established; In the school yard; "Look at those kids hanging out over there!"
"Boy they're dressed nice!"
"Oh, those kids live in the,...."Promise Zone!"
Their parents or single moms live in beautiful homes, drive brandnew cars, don't work."
"And Sue there just got a brandnew BMW for her 17th birthday."
"Wow! Where does ...*ALL THAT MONEY*... come from?"
"Oh,...and they're *exempted* from Obamacare too!"
"Damn! We missed being in,....."The Promise Zone" by 4 blocks!"
(In the background on the radio; "high-way-to- the PROMISE ZONE!")

That's for sure, I'm an Independent and I don't want any nutsackers who voted for President Pantload around me either.
Now, you seem to know a bit about these ",...Promise Zones" maybe you could share? About this "New" ......"Program" that President Nutsacker wants to foist on people.
Oh, and I thought I heard something on the radio today about,...."Job Training!"
Now there's a ,..."program" I haven't heard much since the "C.E.T.A." days.
I dunno though, some of those potential ,...."Promisees" might not want to hear that!
E.B.T. runs big in ,...."Promise Land.!"
"Whoa, whoa,...JOB training? WTF?"
What kinds of *jobs* do you think they might be talking about to train people for?
And will it be on-the-job training or actually sending people to college to be Engineers. Nurses, Doctors, Lab Technologists?

Let me turn that radio up,......"I'M ON THE HIGH......WAY....TO.....THE......***PROMISE ZONE!"***

'Tail, I want in!
How do I have my neighborhood declared a,...."Promise Zone?"
Do we need petitions, letters to the congressman or white house?
You're a Democrat, how do we do this?
Maybe a new car for a Democrat local bigwig? Not as a "bribe" or anything like that of course! More like you know,.....a "gift." Yeah,... a "gift" that sounds much better doesn't it?
Or maybe a little,....."help" with their kids tuition?
Oh, I know, a nice trip to Hawaii or as Obama calls it, "Asia."
'Tail,...how do *you guys* do it,...lots of cash? Gifts? Favors? Getting "dead people" to vote?
