I agree Wind and though not all will agree....it's okay. I learned a long time ago....those that harbor resentment are hurting no one but themselves. Life is way to short not to spend it smiling.

Aye Shaher....I have always been a cat lover but after Fluffy passed on I decided not to get another cat for awhile.

LOL we thought Fluffy was a she.....we took her into to be fixed.  The vet called and asked..."Is  your cats name Fluffy?  I said yes, is there a problem.....he said I would love to spayed your cat but it would seem she is a he....would you like us to neutered him for you??? "

LOL I had just washed them and had laid them down. Because I am short I need a step ladder to hang them up and had gone to get one............when I came back he was already sleeping on them. What can I say he was loving the sun and looked so comfy I waited for him to wake up, before I hung them back up again. He was such a good cat.

That exact same thing happened to me! Two starving, emaciated kittens literally showed up on my doorstep a couple years ago. I planned to feed them and find homes, but of course, got too attached to them and decided to keep them. One was definitely male, the other was a little dubious, but I decided it was female because of body shape and personality. And he just didn't strut his stuff like the other one did, you know what I mean? lol

I took them to a low-cost clinic for a spay and a neuter. It ended up being a neuter and a neuter, lol. I had told them ahead of time that I wasn't positive the female was a female, and sure enough, when I arrived, they laughed and said, "Guess what? Lizzie's a boy!" It was just as well, it cost less for the neuter, lol. And his name is now Izzy.

Not all may agree with me and that's fine.....but I like seeing all the new post that are being started and some new as well as old faces popping up among us.  Welcome old and new ..........its nice to see CC starting to bud once again.

I don't frequent off topics much but on this Easter Sunday, I'll ask that you not be a stranger girl as I know I haven't seen you nearly enough.
.....and oh yes, clean sheets are a must.

Friend of mine has gone a bit over board. He and his SO have 9 cats they care for. not only $100's in food every few months...several strays that keep 'coming home.' $1000's in surgery from fights etc. Too much for me, especially if they don't...stay home.

Mr Rodgers,

LOL I see that you have read my profile .....other wise you would not know about my love for clean sheets off the clothes line on a very brisk and cold winters day............they just smell so heavenly to curl up in.

Do we know each other????  It's nice to have you visit off topics today and I hope your day was a wonderful one.

CC is the abbreviation for Cat Compulsives - people who don't think they are obsessed or have a disorder just because they submit to their cats.

We plan to take over this forum, btw. If you don't have a cat, you will only be allowed to post if you're wearing Hello Kitty pajamas.

Or these. :

Thank you Rasically wabbit.

The baby is with my mother she always wanted a white cat. They are very soft. The mother is a rescue cat and is now spayed.
They are a hoot, outrageous personalities though which makes them all the more fun.
