ORIGINAL: Capablanca Also, something important, I know the owner (Eric) probably doesn't want to commit to the change yet because he is likely trying to recover CollarMe either from diplomacy with Tiffany or legal action. But if CollarMe disappears, even temporarily, every second it's down is users being permanently lost and its reputation -- I know there's a lot of snark about this but its reputation is at least better than "site that is going to disappear any day" -- being destroyed. I say he should commit, and then he has more freedom and an upper hand in any potential negotiations. If he does win CollarMe.com back, then he can just have CollarSpace redirect back there, change everything back, and send out a message along with putting a message on the website for a week or so explaining that CM is back and thanking everyone for their cooperation or whatever. I love what you wrote. A Site going down even for a second though is inherently hurt by it. If anyone has seen "the social network" or owns a domain would know this. This affects your ratings on google's algorithms as well. The cm domain value has probably plummeted according to google. This is how google works. It recognizes everything your domain does good and bad and it is logged into its algorithms FOREVER and if she did the newsletters, advertisingf and SEO she knows this, so this Tiffany woman....anyway, I'll hold my opinions to myself. But after the mod drama, all the immature nonsense that has gone on it is CLEAR the owner left village idiots to micromanage his site while he took a step back, trusted WAY too much, didn't educate himself on site management and this is the result. He should have forseen this crap and acted on it sooner. So what will be will be but it's a shame that the BDSM community has to look like a bunch of ding dongs because of some kindergarten butthurt. I'm just completely turned off and this will definitely not make me want to be a part of any kink "community" anytime soon. I'm so happy I'm an introvert right now.
