Right like the fact that 4 crimes are prevented with firearms than are committed with them. Mostly without anyone being injured, that is a stat which you are either unaware of (quite likely) or ignore. And keep in mind that this is obviously the most under reported crime statistic of all, who is going to call the cops and say " a crime just didn't happen"

Bloomberg admits to over 100,000 defensive gun uses per year, and his group puts the worst spin they can on private ownership.
Your memory is flawed at that time I provided 4 different studies, I quote Bloomberg because he gives the lowest number (big surprise)
but other studies have over 2 million. But yes I have provided the stats more than once.

If it were true, it would be something that the NRA and various other pro-gun groups would be shouting from the rooftops to bolster their position.
I don't hear anything of the sort - and I'm a news junkie.

And they do you guys just dismiss it and I would be shocked if it was on your news, doesn't fit the narrative.

The NRA does spout it quite a bit. In fact, each month they publish a dozen or so of the stories in its magazine. 2,000,000 times a year has been around for more than a decade. Pretty much ever since CCW's became a big news item in Florida. I think the 600,000 are documented cases where people called the cops. The 2,000,000 is a statistical projection based on the likelihood people wouldn't call cops. But, the information is really so old and I haven't re-read it in years so I don't recall exactly. But Bama is correct.
