I didn't want to take ballet but my girlfriend dragged me to her ballet class once and I made a fool of myself in front of everybody not knowing what the hell I was doing.

It could go either way with the bear youngster. He ambled onto the road from out of the forest while we were snapping pictures.
My dad told me not to move. Easy not to since I was petrified. This juvenile-sized bear came up to about my upper thigh. He chomped on the bottom of my dress as it was faintly fluttering in the breeze, then tugged on it a couple of times. Amazingly, it didn't tear and he finally let go so I could hightail it out of there back into the car. Thank goodness Mama Bear was nowhere in sight and never came upon the scene charging at us.
So technically, my dress got bitten, not my person.

I went on tour with the opening band for ZZTop.

One of my duties was relieving the switchboard operator when she went to lunch. This was back before voicemail was used. One day a man called for my boss, Alice. Alice was at lunch, so I took messages for her. Burgess Meredith called, complaining about his bill. He also said, "Tell Alice the customer isn't always wrong!" Alice rolled her eyes and shook her head when I gave her the message.

I was working in downtown Fort Worth in March, 2000. Luckily, I left early for a doctor's appointment. The building I worked in sustained damage when a tornado hit one afternoon.

False--Even at 19 I had enough sense not to run off with the drummer of the opening band. Besides, it was the lead singer I was dating, and this guy was poaching.

I was so glad he got out of there before his place of employment was struck. As for me, I worked in northeast Dallas at the time. My normally one-hour commute was three hours in torrential rain, but my home and place of employment were fine.

T or F? I was 2.5 miles from the epicenter of the Northridge quake when it hit.

Yes, this is true, and it was the eeriest feeling being in a tall swaying building where your footing isn't firmly grounded.
When I lived in Vallejo and Monterey Hills, California as a young girl, I had no memory of any earthquake tremors during that 3-year period.

True for yours, as long as you don't get nit-picky on the exact details.

I have heard being in high rises is terrifying, too. I was on the 4th floor of a 32-story building when one hit, but that one was not so severe, plus I was on a lower floor.

I think the scariest part is having nowhere to run for cover since everything's shaking and there's no terra firma. I was on the 8th floor, which was about the middle, and not too many flights of stairs to exit the building.

OMG, I hope not, so False. Hopefully this didn't occur during the same incident. It would still be strange to have 3 co-workers from different workplaces during your life end up getting murdered.

In the early 80's, when I worked in Orange County, one of my coworkers became involved in a love triangle and ended up getting shot. Then, when I worked in downtown Los Angeles in the mid-eighties, my coworker's car broke down in a bad part of town, and he didn't make it out of there alive. The last one was in the late 80's. One of my coworkers was very meddlesome and stuck her nose in her neighbors' marriage. The husband was mentally unbalanced, couldn't handle it, and murdered her. While she was annoying, she didn't deserve to die. At work, we all just avoided her as much as possible. It was a shame that guy couldn't do the same.

T or F? I once worked as an exotic dancer.

How sad about your co-workers. I'm very sorry to hear of these tragedies.

I've only known one person who was murdered and that was one of my sisters-in-law. More than 20 years later, her case remains unsolved. True or False? (either statement)

"You said you took tap and jazz, so you're inclined toward music and dance; however, I'll say False." Correct, this is false. At one time in my early twenties, I was offered a job as an exotic dancer, but felt the costume was "overexposed." Instead, I did a couple of stints as a "Dance Hostess." With that job, you could be fully clothed, wear what you wanted (within rules) and got paid to dance with the male patrons. Or, they could pay to have you watch TV with them, play pool with them, or talk to them. Easy work and good money, but it grew very tiresome.

T or F: I was born on Thanksgiving Day.

Both True actually, and it's been over 20 years. She was found naked out in the woods, shot execution-style. It may have been drug-related, so no impetus or not enough clues for the detectives to bother solving her murder.

Oh Lord, I remember those cocktail waitressing days during my college years.... (Couldn't stand those no-tipping suckers, usually the ones who expect the most special treatment, too.)
I'm going to say True, in that you are a November baby with topaz as your birthstone. But you don't get to celebrate your birthday on Thanksgiving every year. Probably just as well--too much work!
