yes, and the fail rate is less than the fail of ammo...

The fail rates of ammunition tend to follow the rule that you get what you pay for. You neglect to mention the fail rates of batteries and sensors, or the patent idiocy of wearing a "magic watch" that advertises you're carrying.

K.

Yeah, the watch didnt look that magic, looked like any of the cheap ass jap movement watches out there to be had from every foreign retailer like Walmart, and I seriously doubt you go around eye-fucking watches all day to check their brand. I bet if it does pervade your concious, it doesnt even go as deep as its gold, its black, its silver, its gold and silver...........thats stretching incredulity there, beyond any inherent elasticity.

Criminals are attentive to things that impact their trade, things the rest of us rarely notice (for an example, see here).

Another point to be made is that an ammunition failure can be cleared. You might still survive, with luck. The failure of a "smart" system to release use of the weapon is Game Over. I'm not against smart weapons in principle, but the ones I've seen are nowhere near "smart" enough. What if my hands are too dirty for it to get a good enough fingerprint match? What if the only available weapon is keyed to my wife because it's her gun? What if... yeah, no.

Yeah, rings and watches make a great number of people paranoid I think, so that's pretty normal.

We can tell that you did not read the article that threw out those stupid facts.

The bulk is internal to the gun and is less than or equal to the weight of a round.

I'm only half way through the article and I did read the added weight is equal to a cartridge. I'd rather have an extra cartridge. Why don't you getcha one to carry in yer gun store ?

not all ammo failures can be cleared in incident timelines. What if your wife is the only one home and all thats available to her is a 1911 that she cant cock? Yeah, no.

any sort of extravaganza on anything is going to increase complexity and failure rates. Look, like I said, I aint for smart guns, and I aint for stupid fools having guns.

I will probably lose out on both counts at some point, but I do know that the bulk of the issues (greater than fail rates of smart guns) is stupid fools having them.

And btw, you just talked yourself out of a close there, since if a criminal is brilliant enough to spot the rather innocuous 'magic' watch, he is brilliant enough to not fuck with you, since you got a gun. Because no criminal is looking to do an OK corral. They would like to go home and have dinner with the wife tonight as well, drink a couple beers, slap her around and get some head. Not spend the night in the emergency room with a hole in their head that never happened cuz you aint changed batteries in 10 years.

So...........there it is.

Yeah, I can see you fucking up with the 29 round clip at 16 feet, you will be shot as a waste of oxygen long before you get the safety off.

Why don't you try to be less of a fucking dipshit, and learn to shoot a gun?

lol, drawing a concealed weapon with gloves on. I am laughing. talk about incapacitated. What sort of weapons do you boys carry, and in what sort of holster? What sort of gloves you boys wear? You wear them to bed to, cuz that could be a prob, right there.

I guess the rfid chip would be confused with the leather and all, guess thats why my cell phone isnt ringing.

.........and cretins that carry revolvers for concealed are already a waste of oxygen and should be shot outright.

Thems fightin words. You best take that back or shoot me[sm=boxer.gif]

pffffffffffft. then you wont have to worry about bullet weight will you, or bulk?

I carry a chiefs special in a shoulder holster time to time, but I really dont consider those concealed, they lump up and are easy to spot, and wear for that reason.

You couldn't see yer ass even though yer head spends half the time in it.

You should take some your own advice dancing boy.

You got your dick in your hands, and that is the total of it, as is common for you.

Oh good, a Chiefs Special, now you can shoot yourself[8D]

If it lumps up too much under your arm, try a belly holster with the barrel pointed at yer dick[8D]

mnottertail -> RE: Kanasas to make it easier to have concealable weapons (1/28/2015 10:59:06 PM)

belly holsters are for fat boys. The idea of carrying that one (I will say again) is not to conceal it, its in the open. No need for a permit to carry in my biz.

Or give you a time out while you are taking them off.

If you are wearing gloves, you will need to remove them anyway, to grab your typical concealed. And I think the rfid chips are impervious to leather.
