oh brother, here we go. you read the book and watched the movie? what exactly does that mean, you have studied and are ready for your exam? lol. appears you are seeking "anyone and everyone", try not to be so discriminate. lastly, add some pics of yourself. as far as someone taking you under their wing, I am CERTAIN you could benefit from this. try seeking a mentor here or on Fetlife, there are groups specifically designed to help new people find guidance.

First tip: Stop expecting someone to take you under their wing. The book and movie were works of fiction, and should be treated as such. They are not the handbook for this or any lifestyle.

Second tip: Read more. Learn more. Go for non-fiction. Avoid movies and avoid "trainers," and go for books. This way you'll get a better understanding of what you like/want, and learn some safety. You'll find there's more to BDSM than getting whipped and laid.

Third tip: Once you have a better understanding of what you want, go out and meet people. You can certainly find munches while you're in step 2, but I wouldn't recommend looking for that perfect Mistress at that time. Meet some friends, learn more things. Take relationships SLOWLY and don't let sub frenzy get to your head because that's a path to disaster.

Fourth tip: Approach potential partners as human beings, not kink dispensers. This goes whether you want to play or have a real relationship. Either way, you're going to have to do the work in pursuing, not let people come to you.

Images of you, the real you, even if not identifiable will help.

Knowing that you want a mistress by April immediately turns me off. I take quite some time to get to know my potential partners, and take 6 months (and longer) to collar someone.
