He says his next book is on Jeb bush.

Spelling was never my best thing. I've seen Hillary's explanations for nearly 25 years. Don't need to now.

yeah, but is he gonna expose all Jeb's warts & skeletons or is it gonna be glowing monument to yet another Bush?

Weak. Confess now, you're Sanity's sock.

Theres an easy solution to the lefts constant hyperventilating over FOX News

Just stop watching it

Oh, wait - I forgot for a second. A true leftist is never happy until he or she has imposed his or her own fascist demands on everyone else

They can have their far left MSNBC, their taxpayer funded NPR and NASA propaganda machines, Katie Couric, Dan Rather and George Stephanopoulos spinning the latest DNC party misinformation on the evening news and on "the View", their heavily biased newspapers, magazines and colleges... On and on.

But a little bit of balance? One conservative cable news channel?

Oh hell no, just the thought sends the whiny intolerant little ideologue so-and-sos completely over the moon. The right isnt supposed to be able to buy campaign ads, and they sure as hell arent supposed to have a news channel

Dissent is strictly forbidden

JVoV -> RE: Big Money in Elections (6/7/2015 9:53:23 PM)

I really don't mind having opposing views of issues being presented. Truth is often subjective.

I do generally watch ABC News, and its local affiliate, but I use the internet to fact-check anything I feel the need to. Especially when politics are involved, I watch clips of FOX News and CNN. Or ya know, read a newspaper.

Well then you must not be a true leftist [;)]

I read a magazine article tonight about a familys escape from East Germany prior to the wall coming down. The wife was permitted to travel outside the country because the rest of her nuclear family were still there, as hostages of sorts. A man and his young daughter, Hans-Peter Spitzner and Peggy Spitzner...

He took his daughter to the area by checkpoint Charlie and with her in tow began asking random Westerners for assistance getting across, and kept getting rejected because it was so dangerous. Finally, just as he was about to give up an American soldier said he would help, even though it was against his directives. The two hid in the hot trunk of his car for a nerve wracking twenty five minute ride and when the trunk was opened they were free to speak any kind of political views they desired without the family being violently split into pieces, never to see each other again

Someone giving out samples of a sweet soft drink of some kind randomly gave the girl one of the free samples that day and it was something she will never forget because back home you had to wait in line for sometimes hours for just basic necessities, no one ever just handed you something so good

The man took a huge chance, he could have been killed

But it was well worth it to be rid of the true leftists who had controlled his life since the time he was born

there is all that yes...

and this too---the thing that drives me nutso with the leftist fox news bashers is that they probably don't and have never watched it. if they did, they would see that their viewpoints and positions are constantly being represented.

That and this idea they seem to have that everyone on the right now only watches it 24/7 but believes everything they broadcast. But then again it's probably easier to think that way when you are trying to paint 1/2 the country as a bunch of ignorant racists so I am not surprised they do it.

I saw how you were just parroting Daily Kos. You don't ever seem to have real ideas of your own. So, how would you know real news? It's just because it's what your hateful lefty friends tell you. It must be so peaceful to have people to tell you what to think and what to hate and to never have to worry about anything.

So you support the idea that the "One conservative cable news channel" should be the lowest bottom feeder on the airwaves. No emmys, no investigative journalism, and little if any objectivity. That's your idea of a standard bearer?

Why do you obsess over it.

cloudboy -> RE: Big Money in Elections (6/8/2015 8:36:26 PM)

Is that a "yes" or a "no." That's your idea of a standard bearer?

Sanity -> RE: Big Money in Elections (6/8/2015 9:07:02 PM)

"Standard bearer"?

Get a grip, its a cable channel. You claim that its "the lowest bottom feeder on the airwaves" but thats your radical bias showing. Theres all kinds of trash on cable thats far worse than FOX, but what gets you spun is that they have some conservatives on there

Leftists too btw

MSNBC is a bad joke by comparison, with ratings to match. Even you should be capable of acknowledging that

How many threads do we have that get turned into some idiot ranting about MSNBC though

Few, if any. Why? Because conservatives arent fascist little freaks who have to control of every fucking channel out there

mnottertail -> RE: Big Money in Elections (6/9/2015 5:56:22 AM)

Comparing MSNBC to Faux is appropriate, neither being real news.

Why would a leftist media give an award to FOX? If they got a leftist given award I'd worry.

this is semi equivalent of "do you still beat your wife?"

you set the erroneous conditions of the question and expect the responder to comply with them.

from an intellectual perspective, its a joke and you should be embarrassed by it.

mnottertail -> RE: Big Money in Elections (6/9/2015 8:13:53 AM)

The fact that Faux Nuze and other rightwing slobberers are rife with horseshit, never having much in the way of fact is not really concerned with big money in elections outright, although all media makes bucks by oohing and aahing over the clowns vying for the GOP nomination that are not going to be elected fucking dogcatcher in this country.

cloudboy -> RE: Big Money in Elections (6/9/2015 11:58:55 AM)

It's a yes or no question.

bounty44 -> RE: Big Money in Elections (6/9/2015 12:49:33 PM)

i'll try again---do you still beat your wife?

its a yes or no question.
