So of all of the switches out there, I just wanted to ask which side do you tend to learn more towards when it comes to relationships or scenes. Which side do you feel most comfortable on or desire?

Dominant in relationships. I'm more into erotic Domination, but I do expect to have the final say in partnership matters.

Scene, more the Top, but. . . I prefer interactive spontaneity within a D/s context, irrespective of who is taking on which T/b role, and playfulness is important to me.

BDSM is sexual for me. With non-BDSM sexuality, Topping or bottoming becomes irrelevant there. I'm not a control freak, but I am decisive and unambiguous about expressing myself, and keeping lines of communication open. I know what I like and what I don't like; I know what I want in a partner and I know what I don't want, and what I don't want is a partner who isn't a passionate lover and a multifaceted human being.

I tend to be flexible depending on the position of the person I'm with. In my first two relationships for example, I was the dominant partner. But in my second from last and current, I was a submissive and slave respectively. With someone else who I know quite well, we're both switches so it depends far more on our mood at the time.

Depends on the individual. With my Master, I lean near completely towards my submissive side. With my Jarl - who does not own me nor does he have permission to use me sexually, but to whom I have sworn fealty to -, we are both switches so we tend to flex and change depending on what dynamic each of us prefers at the time.

I am a Dom who also switches. I have never been a full bottom as eventually my top just says screw it and takes over. Since I've never found someone who can keep it suppressed

I am a dominant in my relationships. In scening, I switch. In sex, I switch.

I laughed. That was my answer.

I definitely lean more towards my sub side. For me, the only time my Dom side comes out is if my significant other or whoever I'm with is in sub space or identifies as a sub. While I do love both sides, my sub side will always be my first love.

Hmmm, going to sound true switch wishy washy here. New to the site, first time post to the forum. Hi everybody.

I used to consider myself a switch and in certain realms I am, but also ever evolving. Am heavily into Shibari and fully a top. Impact play and violet wand would lead to sadomasochist. Last year was being considered to be a sub as the chemistry was great, demographics and life prevented that. When I play in the dungeon, it is for two primary reasons. One is to play with rope and second is to scene with one of my Domme friends to feed my Masochistic needs. After my masochistic needs are filled, I can become quite the sadist. I will Top at the dungeon if it is with someone I have played with prior. Currently have a relationship with a lady. For the most part, it has evolved to a Daddy/babygirl thing. We switch that up sometimes to Mommy/boy. Then she is a rope bunny. We recently double Topped in a scene and it was so good that we will go down that road again. Chemistry out the ying yang we have. I prefer to be spontaneous. My biggest fetish is instigating, which I believe is like a PhD in bratting. Stirring the pot is what I do best. Never to do damage, but outrageous I can be. I go in the direction of those I have some calling/chemistry with. Usually it is with "real deal" people if I bottom. Dabblers don't do it for me, although I have stepped up so another can learn. Most genuine and honest souls I feel would answer they are somewhere, foreverever in-between...not fixed, nor locked, wandering-meandering, exploring, evolving, seeking muffin.

I lean toward dominance most days in every day life because basically I just love getting my way! Other days I love to give that up and totally be unselfish. It's a good exercise when you are a ME person by nature. I was never happy trying to be one way or the other all the time. It was not authentic for me. It's a balancing act because for me receiving feels just as good as giving! At least for awhile.
I prefer submission in the bedroom. Totally into the caveman/Tarzan/chief/take it type thing. I had to let that be known first though, so I think I had to show dominance first to get what I needed.
For years, I thought someone should just know. Lol. If they didn't he wasn't the one. Silly really. Definitely was a very poor communicator.

Great question. I've had only one kink partner. We did scenes for 4-5 years. We switched. I was Dom far more often, and I definitely enjoyed the feeling of power and control. However, I learned so much more about myself as sub. It was an incredibly enlightening experience. I definitely preferred it and would "lean" towards it in the future. There is so much more I want to know about myself.
