Except Hillary and anyone who can't see the difference between a buyback and a mandatory buyback.

Some of the people in the anti-gun crowd are coming unhinged....

Want a gun? Take a bullet: I believe that being shot should be a requirement for gun ownership in America
Gun control doesn't go far enough. If you want [a] license to carry a weapon, you should know the pain of getting hit

In the words of my grandmother, a life-long democrat and in reference to Mrs. Clinton, "that bitch scares the crap out of me".

With the 4th Amendment all but dead and the government targeting the 2nd, which Amendment do you think will be targeted next? I'm betting the 10th.

Comrade did you notice that it was a u-tube vidio? Is it possible it is just a vidio made by your comrade .
Mark Shouldice, known professionally as Mark Dice, is an American author and conspiracy theorist based in San Diego, California, who argues that the New World Order and secret societies,...
Mark Dice asks California beach goers if they’ll sign a petition showing support for Obama in his quest to repeal the Bill of Rights. Contains brief strong language.

Was that a position of salon or was that the opinion of an anonymous poster responding to an article?

Tell dear ol' Hilary to give up her Secret Service protection. Maybe then, I'll give a rat's ass about what she says about people giving up their weapons that they use for self defense.

And you've had to defend yourself with a gun exactly how many times? (military & police service exempted)
If your answer is less than once then your argument is moot.

While I'm no anti-gun nut be any means, your argument is a little like saying "I need a car with 1,000 HP in case I ever find myself at the local drag strip."

We have the dubious right to keep and bear arms.
But if you're going to defend that right you need a better argument than "I might, maybe need it to defend myself, someday".

You're new here, huh?

For the last two and a half years, I've had a stalker. One that has no problem chasing me down in public and has no f^cking shame in trying to hunt me down. You have no idea how many times I've had to deal with family and friends scared to death because he contacts them and they are worried he's going to harm me.

My stalker happens to be a foot taller than me, heavier than me, has a greater arm span than me, and is combat trained. How would you like those odds?

I really am the wrong person on this forum to play this game with.

Yes indeed. They were treasonous traitors in the eyes of King George. Why would they want any government to have all the guns when they just fought a government that wanted all the guns? I don't know how anyone can argue against individual ownership without completely ignoring the context.

Has the conservative propaganda machines FINALLY rolled out a response to all the sane arguments?

About fucking time.....

If you believe what Clinton states as the 'Democrats' game plan, then its fair to assume the following:

A ) Conservatives want to shut down the whole of the US Government
B ) Install a conservative President and conservative US Congress. Not to mention a conservative US Supreme Court.
C ) Remove whole selections of the US Government like the IRS, EPA, and FBI
D ) Cut the federal taxes and the budget in half while easily paying off the US Debt
E ) Make a better healthcare system that works better than the ACA, costs half as much, and is efficient
F ) Chopping down Social Security and Medicare

Yes, I can go on and on here. The point here is, there is stuff you'll hear and its just to 'liven up' the base. And that's all it is. You can think in wild fantasies of it being true. But the moment you let those fantasies cross over to reality, do/say something against it; you might just be the catalyst that allows it to go from fantasy to reality. If that makes sense?

Were is if you did nothing, it would simply stay a fantasy. Kind of like all those religious psychos whom think/thought they could predict the Rapture. Or Republicans whom stated if Obama was elected to a second term, gas prices would rise up to $6/gallon. There are fantasies and then there are realities.

You are quite aware that the 2nd amendment was stuffed up the founders collective asses by the slave holders who needed guns to keep the slaves in line. So why do you keep bringing this sad shit to the forum?

She couldn't give up the protection even if she wanted. Now that she is a valid candidate for the Office of the President, the Secret Service assigns agents to her. In fact, they do the same with Donald Trump. Can't trump afford his own henchmen?

Seriously though, the Secret Service represent 'A well regulated militia....". Their purpose is to 'defend the free state'. We can't have a free state if our public officials are being killed by right wing gun nuts....

Before you say anything else...YOUR SIDE.....gave this nation 4/19/95.

But if you're going to defend that right you need a better argument than "I might, maybe need it to defend myself, someday".

I admit to finding the position of some of the pro-gun people perplexing. On the one hand the pro-gun lobby insists that they need to their guns to secure themselves, families and property. Possession of a weapon apparently cures them of their insecurities, they tell us.

Yet, OTOH, some of our resident gun nuts are in a permanent state of apoplexy over imagined threats to "take their guns away". Not even the 2nd Amendment enshrined in the Constitution, or the peculiar pro-gun interpretation placed upon the 2nd by SCOTUS seems to assuage their fears and neuroses. The NRA is forever advising gun owners of nefarious plots to "take your guns away". It appears that nothing will ever cure their fears and neuroses.

The obvious conclusion is that gun ownership doesn't confer the security upon gunowners that they claim it does.
