Different game, different team, different grounds. The gropes were at Gillingham at their grounds. The two rapes happened locally. We were questioned by police to find out if we'd seen anything. I didn't say 'we were told' by anyone. Wanna borrow my reading glasses??? [8\|] Wanna see the damage done to MY car after one of the local football matches?? Two sections of my wind deflectors broken in a scuffle outside my house!! It'll cost over £1,000 to get it repaired. Yes, it was reported to the police. My insurance covers riots but not passing football hooliganism. I'll take some pics in the morning and post them on here if you like. I don't call £1,000+ damage as bollocks!!

Listen, my cousin (female) and aunty went to football matches back in the late '70s, early '80s. They were two of the first to take me along with my Dad. So, I've no idea where you get your first line from. The other line - bollocks - women don't get groped by football fans. The biggest load of bollocks I've ever heard.

Seriously, I would consider it a waste of time to report being groped, apart from if you're trying to make it to a train, you just soldier through instead of waiting another hour for the next train, just so you can report it, and the chance of finding that asshole in the middle of another bunch of drunk idiots is close to ZERO anyway... The US seem to be a bit more on the case and they report how even after college football (admittedly slightly different but kind of comparable when it comes to the fans) rapes rise by 40%

Looks are deceiving. I live 95.5 metres from Chatham Town FC grounds. I have two very good friends who live within 300 yards of the Gill's ground. I see one of those regularly, several times a week. I've also had my car damaged passing the Gill's ground AND at my home right here by football hooligans. So don't fucking tell me it don't happen!!!!!!

Gang-rapes happen with the perpetrators being of all races [and gender/sexes]. As someone who self-identifies as a feminist, I've yet to se someone ignoring gang rape just because of the race of the rapists. But I guess how the media portrays such things changes from one country to another, and from one outlet to another as well. Rape is rape and should be punished; no exceptions.

And yes, it's my car with football hooligan damage done last year around November time that my insurance won't cover. As for the rapes, I can only say that the police were asking questions about it. I am not privvy to their reports and no it's not been on the news.

You've dissed my links without even reading them. And this wasn't petty vandalism - it was caused by a fight between fans at the local club - which you say doesn't happen in backwater places. And as I said, I can only say what the police were asking about regarding the alleged rapes. You don't accept proof and news testimony that football hooliganism happens. You also dismiss that gropes and rapes don't happen just because it hasn't happened to you or your friends. It doesn't seem to register with you that the rapes and gropes have been reported in many media outlets in Germany.
