So... you say it's not a Tor problem. That may be technically correct (it's the exit nodes, not Tor itself). But, the fact that Tor is pretty much the only browser that is using them, makes it a Tor problem. The Tor browser needs to use them in a different way so that Captcha isn't invoked. No other browsers are suffering - so Tor needs to do something different. Either that, or use a different method to get your security. This site, like many others, is run on a shoestring, so don't expect anything to be done about it any time soon. There are more important things to be worrying about than one particular minority browser accessing the site. If it was a major browser, such as IE, FF, Opera, or Chrome, they might invest some resources in fixing it. For those minority users using Tor, they have to make a choice. Either use something else, or don't use the site. And as far as broadcasting all your personal info to the world, whilst technically correct, isn't quite so much of a problem for the average user. Those wanting your info can do that just as easily whether you use VPN's, SSL, Tor, or any other encryption available to Mr Joe Average computer user. So as far as that is concerned, it's pretty tantamount to scaremongering because you aren't exactly posting it up in bright neon lights outside of your house. WiFi security (or lack of), I understand. That's why I don't ever use a wireless connection. Ever. And while I agree that using SSL would be a major step up for security, there are literally millions of sites out there that are unsecured and for the majority of users, using them is not a problem.
