Islamophobia works on the stupid quite well, especially people who haven't read the koran or the bible, or even compared them, when it comes to violence the koran has NOTHING on the bible, but among the intellectual lightweights it seems to be all the vogue to behave like they're living in the 30's - all they changed is the name of the religion they are trying to prosecute...

Oh you mean countries like turkey? How many of them actually stay in turkey and not move on to the richer nations such as France, Germany and England? They are even demanding to come to the states... I wonder why?

They took over northern Africa, they took over iraq, they took Afghanistan they took syria, Lebanon, Egypt, turkey, they even had Greece, Spain and half of France! If they can't take us by force they will simply out breed us. That's some interesting facts there too just look at a break down of birth rates... I don't know about you but as an atheist I'd rather live under a Christian or Jewish society than a Muslim one.

I dont see beheading videos like the most recent one in Nigeria where Christians get beheaded on a daily basis! You tell me what the difference is! Obviously you didn't watch the video. The crusades were defensive wars not offensive! By all means show me how any religion besides Muslims kill innocent people on a daily basis! By all means if you can prove Muslims are more civilized than the rest I'll root for them but I don't see that happening!

There's no good way to kill someone and dead is dead no matter who was filming. The recent PP murders were done in the name of God. OK you still haven't given me an example of where Christians have killed Muslims simply because they are Muslim... I doubt you won't find a few isolated cases but its nothing compared to the jihaad mentality and how commonly it occurrs. Like I said before show me! Till then I'll call it as I see it as an atheist. Muslims = bad news, all other religions = I'm mostly safe. Rewind the clock about 200 years I'd be just as worried about Christians. It seems Christians have mostly evolved from wanting to burn witches and all the other dumb shit they did. I can't say that Muslims have how ever. Who the hell uses children as shields? Who uses them to deliver a bomb? It's absolutely insane! Granted there are peaceful Muslims but they do nothing to stop Isis for example. Instead millions mostly men flee to make a new life in the western world. Why help someone that refuses to help them selves? How the hell do 30k Isis fighters (according to Obama) drive out an entire nation? It seems very odd to me! But according to some of you I'm the one that's paranoid! You guys keep sticking your head in the sand or up your ass which ever you prefer. I'd rather be careful than sorry. No one here has yet to answer why they won't meet someone here they can't vet but are willing to let refugees in they can't vet. Isis has claimed to take advantage of the refugee crisis to infiltrate. And its happened in france already. It's been proven that for about a grand one can get Syrian papers that are not forged but very real. Syria doesn't track its population like more civilized nations do so running an FBI background check on them is going to yield little to no results. Till a better system is in place they need to stay where they are. If we can spend billions housing and feeding them we can spend billions helping them fight terrorism and radical Islam in their country. Letting them come here will solve nothing just as taking guns will solve nothing.

the violence you refer to in the bible is the historical record of the old testament; they are not the prescription by which Christians today are admonished to live. to my knowledge, the same cannot be said about the Koran, where explicit commandments involving "violence" are still in practice today.

liberals are fond of (unjustly & wrongly) accusing Christians of adhering to some parts of the bible while ignoring others. in my experience that is often founded in their, that is the liberals', ignorance of the bible and the difference between the testaments. its happily ironic they are not looking at the moderate muslims and telling them the same thing.
