My claim was that besides what Hitler did all borders stayed the same unless it was a peaceful union or dissolution of such union!

That was not your original claim.

This can not be claimed for the Muslim world in the past 100 years.

Opinion without citation...seems to be the way you operate.

I already posted a legthy video from a PhD that has done extensive study on this matter.

One phd opinion does not equal concenus.

The crusades and jihaad are two completely different things

Opinion without substance.

and since some of you insist that modern incursions by the western world are holy wars I can assure you they are not.

It is not us but the muslims that you must assure and they will consider your insipid rhetoric to be insipid rhetoric.

It's mostly about the oil fields that tend to go up in flames every time there is a power shift in the region. Look at what Saddam did when the US pushed him out of Kuwait.

Kuwait is part of iraq or were you not aware of that?

He set fire to all the oil wells as he retreated. He rather saw it burn than let Kuwait have it.

He would rather see it burn than let the amerikans have it is somewhat closer to the truth don't you think?

You people are so quick to defend a dictator but hate dictators.

He was their dictator and none of our business.

You are quick to defend his way of ruling and his view on shariah law but wanna bitch about our guns here in the states.

No one but the batf cares about your guns.

Saddam was another Hitler! He had to be taken out.

Why?

We banned Germans and japs from entering the country why not Muslims now?

We were at war with germany and japan or were you unaware of that?

I know there were plenty of Germans that wanted no part of what Hitler was doing but letting them in was too big of a risk. And once they get here what will they do? We don't have any jobs, our welfare system is on its knees, where the hell is all that money to feed and house a 100k a year if Obama gets his way gonna come from?

The f35 cost a quarter of a billion each and we are goint to build 2500 of them. Where does that money come from?

In a perfect world I'd say sure bring me your hungry your tired and your sick but the fact is we can't even take care of the ones we already have! This is not just about religion its about a whole lot more but one can't see that with their head stuck in the sand. We've reached a point where we simply can't take anymore people. Our dollar is inflating by the second because we keep borrowing money to fund shit that's simply not necessary.

Like war toys?[8|]

More and more jobs are being outsourced to other countries. What happened to the 50s where everything was made in America? We were the front runners in almost every industry but all that collapsed when liberals decided we need more money! Just look at Seattle, 15/hr to flip a fucking burger resulted in thousands getting laid off. Not to mention the fact that prices at restaurants will have to be increased. Then all other traded will start demanding more money so they can afford to eat at mc Donalds. It's a domino effect and it ends with no one being able to afford to hire anyone. That's when you see another industry leave the states to find cheap labor in china or where ever else.

That is what happens when you outlaw slavery.

How are we going to buy if we don't produce? The liberal answer is to simply borrow more money and you see what Obama led us to a all time high deficit. Another solution lets import workers because we're too lazy to work. The workers gladly come to live 20 deep in a 3 bed house just to send most of their earnings back home instead of spending it here and stimulating the economy. That makes a lot of sense!

So in your opinion the one who earns the money has no choice in how it is spent...did someone appoint you god?

Do you really think the usa defeated germany? Have you ever read a history book written for someone beyond the fifth grade?

This must be my imagination as well...

Not your imagination just your inability to read. Perhaps you could tell us of the largest land battle the amerikans fought in ww 2?

LOL trump at his michigan gala, responding to protesters calling by saying they gonna stand up while 9000 maniacs(his suporters) wanna kill them.

They have been attacking us since their existence and still are to this day to the point where there are no go zones in parts of Europe. What part of that don't you understand?

What I understand from that one sentence is, you believe everything Trump spews out of his mouth.

How about you research it for your self? Search jihaad vs crusades... And it's not Trump saying it either...

How about you backing up your bullshit claims about no-go zones in Europe.

They had a three colour shoulder patch. Red, blue and yellow. Red for the blood never shed, blue for the ocean never crossed and yellow for the reason why.

Dvr22999874 -> RE: Donald Trump Calls for Barring Muslims From Entering U.S. (12/23/2015 8:40:09 PM)

That last patch ran across the shoulder to the nape of the neck and thence down the spine ( which often seemed to be missing) to the point of their personality

And if you don't think they were heroes, YOU try running a three minute mile whilst divesting yourself of rifle, Kevlar helmet, boots, uniform and all other signs that you had anything to do with the military, whist at the same time waving a white flag and screaming for mommy at the top of your voice.

MariaB -> RE: Donald Trump Calls for Barring Muslims From Entering U.S. (12/23/2015 9:01:44 PM)

@Cuckingcurious
Saddam didn't just role into Kuwait for the mischief. The Iraqi government had accused the Kuwaitis of stealing 2.5 billion barrels of oil from its Rumaila oil fields by sliding drills into Iraqi oil pipelines. They had also accused Kuwait of exceeding OPEC oil production which had dropped the price of oil from $20 a barrel to $13 a barrel in the first six months of 1990. This meant 1 billion dollars less for Iraq everytime that price of an oil barrel went down by a dollar. Saddam said he would stop them from continuing aggressive action:"The oil quota violators have stabbed Iraq with poison dagger. Iraqis will not forget the saying that cutting necks is better than cutting means of living. O'God almighty, be witness that we have warned them".1 His foreign minister Tariq Aziz later said in a letter to the Arab league that Kuwait is "systematically, deliberately and continuously" harming Iraq by encroaching on its territory, stealing oil, and destroying its economy.1 "Such behaviour amounts to military aggression".1 These were just signs of the Desert Storm to come.

http://www.apfn.org/Saddam-Hussein/Kuwait.htm

Saddam was a dictator, there's no doubt about that but Iraq was a fairly stable economy compared to many parts of the Middle East. I think most Iraqi's would tell you, "yes he was a dictator but he was our dictator." What the West did was obliterate a modern and vibrant country and send it back into the dark ages. Before the West went into Iraq, children played in the streets, parents picnicked with families in the municipal parks and people led very normal lives similar to the sort of lives we lead now. Anyone who believes we are the greater good is either an ignorant fool or delusional. Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction but we rained our weapons of mass destruction on Iraq.

Edited to add: Are people still naive enough to believe our interest in Iraq, Libya and now Syria were to liberate its people? If so, why haven't we invaded North Korea and the horrifyingly cruel Kim Jong-il? What about China's President Xi Jinping and his massive crimes against humanity? or the barbarian nation of Saudi Arabia?

@Cuckingcurious
I appreciate that most people have little understanding about how a 'national economy' works (or fails if we look at Americas present economy) because its so bloody complex, but when they haven't bothered to learn the basics there's little hope, other than understanding the need to blame someone, something, anyone. At least you're aware that America is in financial trouble because its allowed its businesses to be strangled out of existence. When you strangle your home grown businesses with excessive taxation and impossible red tape, those businesses will ship out and when you don't produce what you need to sustain yourselves, you will eventually render yourself completely dependant on other countries. America isn't in trouble because its allowing too many immigrants in or because too many people are on welfare; America is in trouble because it sold its assets to countries like China. Too many people and not enough jobs or affordable housing are merely a symptom of something much bigger afoot....Not enough economic growth on its own soil.

Its estimated that the refugees will cost Germany around 10 billion Euro between 2015-16 but some of the best economists in the world have predicted that after the initial spend Germany will see very little downward effect. Germany, just like many western nations suffers from a shrinking, ageing population. If Germany plays its cards right, the young immigrants will increase productivity and increased productivity will drive that economy upwards. For example, immigration increases demand for local services and when local services are increased, they are financed through more work and salaries. Young refugees who are able to legally work will more than pay their way and the positive effects for Germany will become substantial in the long run.

It looks like something posted by the guy who filmed it. an angry young muslim at the front of a huge and violent crowd. if you watch for a while, you'll see the police repeatedly giving ground. They're not supposed to be escorting these people, they're supposed to be stopping them. And they get run down or forced back every time they attempt it.

Or ... they'll put on their burqas, grab a few AK-47s and some pipes, nails, gun powder and such to make a few bombs, and cause a little destruction.

I'm all for erring on the side of caution. I hope all of the European countries step up and take as many "refugees" as possible so that there's none left to come here. That would suit me, just fine.

Well if I were a refugee I wouldn't want to come to America. Less opportunities in such an unstable economy as well as all that fear and distrust.

Well if I were a refugee I wouldn't want to come to America. Less opportunities in such an unstable economy as well as all that fear and distrust.

Hasn't it occurred to some frightened Westerners that the people the refugees are fleeing are precisely the people who " put on their burqas, grab a few AK-47s and some pipes, nails, gun powder and such to make a few bombs, and cause a little destruction"? That is precisely the same people who have destroyed their lives and their homelands and caused them to flee in the first place???

While there are innumerable good reasons to despise IS and the like, the refugees fleeing their tyranny and brutality have far more reason to despise IS than we who live in the comfort and security of the West do. It's their lives, their countries and their religion that is being destroyed, not ours. They have far more to gain by IS's destruction than we do, just as they have far more to lose by IS's ongoing activities than we do.

Show some perspective people!
