Agree. Clearly this is so.

As an example, in this instance the TOS against pissing off Moderator 3 and 10 (somebody tell me he is not the "Gorean Moderator") is invoked for good cause and resulted in a justified permanent ban.

That is not entirely correct.

You are the peewit! If you had me on hide you would not see my posts! You would not be making stupid comments to impress the three smelly pussy whores that you may never meet. Say dude the Gold Coast is great vacation destination. Why not message the three evil she demons and invite them to spend week there in your hovel. They would have to get a parole chitty from satan and save up their welfare for a decade to make the trip. You should spend your time exercising your penis inside that slave pussy you claim to own and give the wench pleasure. Do you own some Aboriginal Female per chance. Think on great granddad at Gallipoli on Anzac day unless your family were more recent £10 poms? A very important and proud day of remembrance for both Australia and New Zealand. Less than 20 years after Australia became a nation state instead of several independent colonies.Australian, British, French, Indian, Nepalese, Newfoundlander, New Zealander, all fighting John Abdul the Turkeytrotter and Abdul won. Bad leadership and failure to advance and take the high hills and move inland.The Gurkhas took the highest hill but had to withdraw due to not being supported. Troops ordered to play soccer, rugby and cricket on the beaches and not dig in. 15 British Empire and French Empire Divisions lost to 16 Ottoman Empire Divisions and only 200 miles from Constantinoble. Landing at Helles, the Lancashire Fusiliers, 7 VCS awarded. Anzac Cove, all heavy casualties. You though have never been a Soldier.

The aim of the Gallipoli campaign and why it failed?

In 1915 The Gallipoli campaign was designed to knock Turkey out of war. The allies wanted to invade Turkey and therefore be able to bring supplies and arms to the Russians for their immense German front. They wished to be able to form a supply route through the Dardanelle’s. The Russians were short of food and arms and it was necessary to keep the Eastern Front going. They also wished to open up a new front through the Balkans to attack Austria-Hungary. By taking Turkey they would have been able to take the Balkans and attack Austria-Hungary from the south. The main aim of the campaign was to stop Bulgaria joining the Central Powers forcing Austria out of the war, leaving Germany isolated.

At 6:00 am on the morning of 25th of April 1915 the First Expeditionary Force of the Anzacs landed on the beaches of the Gallipoli peninsula in Turkey. The aim was to strike in across the peninsula and destroy the Turkish naval defences in the Dardanelles, leaving the channel open for the Royal Navy to sail through to Constantinople and knock Turkey out of the war in one stroke. But the Anzacs were sent ashore in the wrong place, they found not open grasslands but steep hills. The Turks were well entrenched on the hill tops and cliffs overlooking the landing areas. Of the 16, 000 landed on the first morning, 2,000 were killed and between two and three thousand were wounded.

The primary objective was that the Turks would be driven back and that Constantinople would be reached within a matter of weeks. The main battle lasted from April 25 until the end of August. During those four months no more progress than a mile or two was made from the landing zone, which was continually within range of Turkish mortars and artillery. From some positions there was machine gun fire as well. The Turkish forces had no aircraft and poor artillery, however they were well prepared. By the end of the day, having suffered horrific losses, the Anzacs had established a small beachhead, clinging to cliffs that were to remain unchanged as the front line for the duration of the campaign.

On the night of November 1915 the Anzacs withdrew from Gallipoli, losing no men in the evacuation, but leaving behind thousands of their fallen friends. The evacuation of Gallipoli was regarded as the most successful operation of the war as there were no casualties. Anzac Cove and Sulva Bay were evacuated without a single casualty. To disguise their departure from Gallipoli, self-firing guns were set up along the Allied trenches. The Turks mounted an attack on the Allied trenches at Gallipoli the day after the troops had left, to find the trenches empty.

The Gallipoli Campaign ended in a costly failure. Allied troops had completely withdrawn by January 1916 having suffered over 30,000 casualties. The Turks had held the line but at a terrible cost with up to 200,000 casualties. The Royal Navy's inability to force the Dardanelles Straits with its battleships was clearly one of the causes of the expeditions failure. Also, the soldiers were not trained on how to land on beaches and were simply knocked down and killed before they reached land. The allies were slow to react having landed and the Turks had been given time to rearm and reinforce. The trenches were in terrible condition and soldiers suffered from disease, water shortages and food shortages. A new commander was put in charge of the campaign that decided to continue and brought an end to the campaign.

By the outbreak of World War I, there were 23 light horse regiments within Australia's part-time military force, consisting of 9,000 personnel.[1] These were organised as follows:[2][3]

1st Light Horse Brigade (Queensland): 1st (Central Queensland), 2nd (Queensland Mounted Infantry), 3rd (Darling Downs), 4th (Northern Rivers Lancers) and 27th (North Queensland) Light Horse Regiments
2nd Light Horse Brigade (New South Wales): 5th (New England) and 6th (Hunter River Lancers) Light Horse Regiments
3rd Light Horse Brigade (New South Wales): 7th (New South Wales Lancers), 9th (New South Wales Mounted Rifles), 11th (Australian Horse) and 28th (Illawarra) Light Horse Regiments
5th Light Horse Brigade (Victoria): 13th (Gippsland), 15th (Victorian Mounted Rifles), and 16th (Indi) Light Horse Regiments
7th Light Horse Brigade (Victoria): 17th (Campaspe), 19th (Yarrowee), and 20th (Corangamite) and 29th (Port Phillip Horse) Light Horse Regiments
8th Light Horse Brigade (South Australia): 22nd (South Australian Mounted Rifles), 23rd (Barossa), and 24th (Flinders) Light Horse Regiments
25th (Western Australian Mounted Infantry) Light Horse Regiment
26th (Tasmanian Mounted Infantry) Light Horse Regiment.

THE THREE UNIVERSAL TRUTHS

One day, the Buddha sat down in the shade of a tree and noticed how beautiful the countryside was. Flowers were blooming and trees were putting on bright new leaves, but among all this beauty, he saw much unhappiness. A farmer beat his ox in the field. A bird pecked at an earthworm, and then an eagle swooped down on the bird. Deeply troubled, he asked, "Why does the farmer beat his ox? Why must one creature eat another to live?"

During his enlightenment, the Buddha found the answer to these questions. He discovered three great truths. He explained these truths in a simple way so that everyone could understand them.

1. Nothing is lost in the universe

The first truth is that nothing is lost in the universe. Matter turns into energy, energy turns into matter. A dead leaf turns into soil. A seed sprouts and becomes a new plant. Old solar systems disintegrate and turn into cosmic rays. We are born of our parents, our children are born of us.

We are the same as plants, as trees, as other people, as the rain that falls. We consist of that which is around us, we are the same as everything. If we destroy something around us, we destroy ourselves. If we cheat another, we cheat ourselves. Understanding this truth, the Buddha and his disciples never killed any animal.

2. Everything Changes

The second universal truth of the Buddha is that everything is continuously changing. Life is like a river flowing on and on, ever-changing. Sometimes it flows slowly and sometimes swiftly. It is smooth and gentle in some places, but later on snags and rocks crop up out of nowhere. As soon as we think we are safe, something unexpected happens.

Once dinosaurs, mammoths, and saber-toothed tigers roamed this earth. They all died out, yet this was not the end of life. Other life forms like smaller mammals appeared, and eventually humans, too. Now we can even see the Earth from space and understand the changes that have taken place on this planet. Our ideas about life also change. People once believed that the world was flat, but now we know that it is round.

3. Law of Cause and Effect

The third universal truth explained by the Buddha is that there is continuous changes due to the law of cause and effect. This is the same law of cause and effect found in every modern science textbook. In this way, science and Buddhism are alike.

The law of cause and effect is known as karma. Nothing ever happens to us unless we deserves it. We receive exactly what we earn, whether it is good or bad. We are the way we are now due to the things we have done in the past. Our thoughts and actions determine the kind of life we can have. If we do good things, in the future good things will happen to us. If we do bad things, in the future bad things will happen to us. Every moment we create new karma by what we say, do, and think. If we understand this, we do not need to fear karma. It becomes our friend. It teaches us to create a bright future.
The Buddha said,

"The kind of seed sown
will produce that kind of fruit.
Those who do good will reap good results.
Those who do evil will reap evil results.
If you carefully plant a good seed,
You will joyfully gather good fruit."

Right better read first page and see what tangents this one took.
Ah this one I remember.
My initial first reply was more than fair.

I believe to moderate in an adequate capacity takes a certain mind. so few people have such a mind.

How does, nae can, a liar/fake moderate another liar/fake or moderate sheer slipper integrity – in no way am I a referring to mod3 on here. But that happens to me on that other place all of the time and 100% refusal to debate thrash this out in public forum with I. I am simply outnumber in quantities so vast..to people that know me, and others that wonder, and those that do not understand the word fake ( I like sophists it has two polar meanings and I can assure you I never use it ancient-greek) in conjunction with a dictionary.

Correct. Certainly in the context of that thread there is no violation of the TOS or guidelines. Perhaps also Moderator 10 is simply a lackey for Moderator 3.

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Oh, I'm thinking we probably meant two different things.

(I didn't read all 19 pages of that one. I think I'm on the thread way earlier than it lasted. Not during the end part where there seemed to be multiple Mods on it toward the end. Should have been if fin kink really a kink, yes?)

While I wouldn't use the term lackey, there's always going to be lesser Mods under the LMIC (Lead Mod In Cahrge) and they are going to have to abide by decisions of who is running the place. Also, you have to remember that the LMIC doesn't always have just one Admin name, either.

What I meant by it was that the Gorean man who was known as a prior Mod, as far as I know, wasn't a Mod under Mod3.

Seven Deadly Sins

They look like they best things
When in reality they'll torture you
Until you're dead inside
There seven deadly sins were my life

The man who stood by me wasn't the one to blame
Although he made me feel more pride
Then anyone would consider human
And then I got too cocky
And he left me for the terrible things I'd done

It seemed so unreasonable
Now that I look back it was completely understandable
When we were together I would look for things he didn't have
I would go after every man
With a large stack of cash
I'd even sell my body

I couldn't see what I did wrong
So I wanted him to feel my angry wrath
When in reality I was insecure and jealous
Because his lover now seems to be
His better half

Day by day I would throw myself away
I always seemed to get more wasted
Than the day before
Because each day I loathed myself more and more

Other days I would refuse to move
The couch seemed to be my death sentence
Not moving seemed to be a must
It was a matter of time before my cat would collect piles upon piles of dust

By the time of my departure
I was 500 pounds larger
They had to dig a special grave
For the stupid little mess I made
Because of the seven deadly sins

This sock war amazes me, because it's launch by I assume, full grown adults? Perhaps even above 30's? above 40's? Older than me?
I used get into childish wars way back in IRCs, but we were like 13 yr old kids, a whole gang of us from different countries, getting pissed off at stuffy adults in the channels.

And we trolled alot. It's funny seeing full grown adults doing the same thing.

Sock Puppets
Explore behind the mind
Ignore all the bull shite within
Gypsies are casting spells of jealousy and envy all over the world. The crack heads kicking it in the old school fad. Like the orange swimming pool. Drowning under the fear of it all.
Didn't you see the darkness drowning your face? Artificial blend of evil with the clutches of pure joy. The scars build strength inside of me. Gallantly engraving sing us peace in this troubled corner.

Travel to controlled system with no regrets. Be proud of who you be as a person. Soul forever changed on the naked ice. The inception is your character is alive. Chase the orgasmic odyssey entwined by closures. The sweet nymphs swinging through the echoes. The chance to change. Sing with them in unison. The universe is prisoners stalking prey. Scream ugly licking those sadistic lips of yours. Someday the rush will stop. Suddenly the coffee cup falls off the table, shattering glass. Two days before she emerged into a half human and half angel smiting us full of peace.

Gunga Din - Poem by Rudyard Kipling
You may talk o' gin and beer
When you're quartered safe out 'ere,
An' you're sent to penny-fights an' Aldershot it;
But when it comes to slaughter
You will do your work on water,
An' you'll lick the bloomin' boots of 'im that's got it.
Now in Injia's sunny clime,
Where I used to spend my time
A-servin' of 'Er Majesty the Queen,
Of all them blackfaced crew
The finest man I knew
Was our regimental bhisti, Gunga Din.
He was "Din! Din! Din!
You limpin' lump o' brick-dust, Gunga Din!
Hi! slippery ~hitherao~!
Water, get it! ~Panee lao~! [Bring water swiftly.]
You squidgy-nosed old idol, Gunga Din."

The uniform 'e wore
Was nothin' much before,
An' rather less than 'arf o' that be'ind,
For a piece o' twisty rag
An' a goatskin water-bag
Was all the field-equipment 'e could find.
When the sweatin' troop-train lay
In a sidin' through the day,
Where the 'eat would make your bloomin' eyebrows crawl,
We shouted "Harry By!" [Mr. Atkins's equivalent for "O brother."]
Till our throats were bricky-dry,
Then we wopped 'im 'cause 'e couldn't serve us all.
It was "Din! Din! Din!
You 'eathen, where the mischief 'ave you been?
You put some ~juldee~ in it [Be quick.]
Or I'll ~marrow~ you this minute [Hit you.]
If you don't fill up my helmet, Gunga Din!"

'E would dot an' carry one
Till the longest day was done;
An' 'e didn't seem to know the use o' fear.
If we charged or broke or cut,
You could bet your bloomin' nut,
'E'd be waitin' fifty paces right flank rear.
With 'is ~mussick~ on 'is back, [Water-skin.]
'E would skip with our attack,
An' watch us till the bugles made "Retire",
An' for all 'is dirty 'ide
'E was white, clear white, inside
When 'e went to tend the wounded under fire!
It was "Din! Din! Din!"
With the bullets kickin' dust-spots on the green.
When the cartridges ran out,
You could hear the front-files shout,
"Hi! ammunition-mules an' Gunga Din!"

I shan't forgit the night
When I dropped be'ind the fight
With a bullet where my belt-plate should 'a' been.
I was chokin' mad with thirst,
An' the man that spied me first
Was our good old grinnin', gruntin' Gunga Din.
'E lifted up my 'ead,
An' he plugged me where I bled,
An' 'e guv me 'arf-a-pint o' water-green:
It was crawlin' and it stunk,
But of all the drinks I've drunk,
I'm gratefullest to one from Gunga Din.
It was "Din! Din! Din!
'Ere's a beggar with a bullet through 'is spleen;
'E's chawin' up the ground,
An' 'e's kickin' all around:
For Gawd's sake git the water, Gunga Din!"

'E carried me away
To where a dooli lay,
An' a bullet come an' drilled the beggar clean.
'E put me safe inside,
An' just before 'e died,
"I 'ope you liked your drink", sez Gunga Din.
So I'll meet 'im later on
At the place where 'e is gone --
Where it's always double drill and no canteen;
'E'll be squattin' on the coals
Givin' drink to poor damned souls,
An' I'll get a swig in hell from Gunga Din!
Yes, Din! Din! Din!
You Lazarushian-leather Gunga Din!
Though I've belted you and flayed you,
By the livin' Gawd that made you,
You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!

We've fought with many men acrost the seas,
An' some of 'em was brave an' some was not:
The Paythan an' the Zulu an' Burmese;
But the Fuzzy was the finest o' the lot.
We never got a ha'porth's change of 'im:
'E squatted in the scrub an' 'ocked our 'orses,
'E cut our sentries up at Sua~kim~,
An' 'e played the cat an' banjo with our forces.
So 'ere's ~to~ you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in the Soudan;
You're a pore benighted 'eathen but a first-class fightin' man;
We gives you your certificate, an' if you want it signed
We'll come an' 'ave a romp with you whenever you're inclined.

We took our chanst among the Khyber 'ills,
The Boers knocked us silly at a mile,
The Burman give us Irriwaddy chills,
An' a Zulu ~impi~ dished us up in style:
But all we ever got from such as they
Was pop to what the Fuzzy made us swaller;
We 'eld our bloomin' own, the papers say,
But man for man the Fuzzy knocked us 'oller.
Then 'ere's ~to~ you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, an' the missis and the kid;
Our orders was to break you, an' of course we went an' did.
We sloshed you with Martinis, an' it wasn't 'ardly fair;
But for all the odds agin' you, Fuzzy-Wuz, you broke the square.

'E 'asn't got no papers of 'is own,
'E 'asn't got no medals nor rewards,
So we must certify the skill 'e's shown
In usin' of 'is long two-'anded swords:
When 'e's 'oppin' in an' out among the bush
With 'is coffin-'eaded shield an' shovel-spear,
An 'appy day with Fuzzy on the rush
Will last an 'ealthy Tommy for a year.
So 'ere's ~to~ you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, an' your friends which are no more,
If we 'adn't lost some messmates we would 'elp you to deplore;
But give an' take's the gospel, an' we'll call the bargain fair,
For if you 'ave lost more than us, you crumpled up the square!

'E rushes at the smoke when we let drive,
An', before we know, 'e's 'ackin' at our 'ead;
'E's all 'ot sand an' ginger when alive,
An' 'e's generally shammin' when 'e's dead.
'E's a daisy, 'e's a ducky, 'e's a lamb!
'E's a injia-rubber idiot on the spree,
'E's the on'y thing that doesn't give a damn
For a Regiment o' British Infantree!
So 'ere's ~to~ you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in the Soudan;
You're a pore benighted 'eathen but a first-class fightin' man;
An' 'ere's ~to~ you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, with your 'ayrick 'ead of 'air --
You big black boundin' beggar -- for you broke a British square!
