I was brought up before computers took off. I read a lot of sci fi and I think that spoiled me. I kind of assumed that, by my present age, computers would have become properly intelligent, rather than the souped up electronic calculators that they still are. I want an OS that *really* does something new and big.

Me too. And I 'm still waiting on my jetpack. I really can't believe we can do everything that we have, yet still no jetpack.

Me, I want a computer that isn't as thick as two short planks. That word 'smart' in relation to tech gadgets is *way* overused.

I am either olde enough, or mad enough, to remember every version eg win 3.11, win98se, xp (not going to mention 2000), win 7 at a push and win 10 if you fiddled about with some sypware settings

Now I feel ancient.

I remember BASIC and DOS.

And Selectrics. [:)]
