ClubErotica -> A question for Masters who provide subs with tasks to perform... (5/2/2016 1:52:27 PM)

Hello Masters

If you are a Master who provides subs with tasks, what are the tasks you set that are most likely to be completed (or at least attempted) by your sub, and what proof do you ask of the sub that they have done so?

Thank You For Your Time

I suppose asking and expecting an honest answer is out of the question?

Oh where is the fun in that!

If I'm going to create a game, I'd like more interaction with the participant and isn't providing some form of proof part of the fun.

DesFIP -> RE: A question for Masters who provide subs with tasks to perform... (5/2/2016 2:23:55 PM)

He asks me to do things that he needs.

So when I presented him with a cup of tea first thing in the morning, that's all the proof he needed.

Same with the name of a block and mortar company near a client of his.

I guess that's the difference. I don't consider my D/s relationship a "game".

Then clearly the question isnt aimed at you. Thank you for taking the time to respond, just not sure why you did.

DesFIP -> RE: A question for Masters who provide subs with tasks to perform... (5/2/2016 2:41:40 PM)

Because you didn't say that this was a game aimed at people who have never met.

You asked what people in real m/s relationships do. We told you.

We've been together for over 13 years, if he didn't trust me by now to do things, then that lack of trust would have destroyed the relationship long ago.

Same of the only thing he wanted was naked pics to wank to. Because that's not what I would ever seek in a relationship.

So tell us op, how long have you been in a power relationship?

ClubErotica -> RE: A question for Masters who provide subs with tasks to perform... (5/2/2016 2:59:32 PM)

Thank you for your reply. Maybe I should have stressed that the question was aimed at Masters that set tasks and challenges for those subs who want online 'play'. I understand that there are subs who crave such tasks and thought making such a game (comprising of a dozen tasks or more) would provide some outlet for those subs.

Most likely to be completed? How many M-types do you know that don't have the "if I say do, it gets done" rule about tasks?

Task: Do the dishes. (And, yes, in MY house, they get done a certain way.) How do I know it's done? I see his hands in the soapy water while in progress and I pull clean dishes out of the cabinet after the fact.

Task: Put my toy bag in the car. When *I* go to the car, it's in there.

Task: I want you to bring three sets of clothes for the weekend. He shows up with three sets of clothes.

Am I missing something here?

ETA - Ahhhhh, I hit "send" too soon.

Not normally my style, but out of curiosity, how much does the "game" cost those subs who want to play or are you just doing it out of the goodness of your heart? Either way, it isn't new. If you want ideas for this kind of thing, try something like MystressWorld. For a price, you'll get all the ideas you'll ever need for this type of 'do task, show proof' kind of deal.

Actually he didn't. He prefaced his question with "If you are a Master who provides subs with tasks".
Nothing in there about it being any specific type of relationship.

Hello LadyPact, The 'game' doesn't cost anything. The game is in the form of a PDF eBook, and once created and out there on the internet would have very little value. I have no interest in paying MystressWorld for something I intend to create myself .

Actually - using Master, Mistress and submissive implies a power dynamic relationship and for most of us, our default is set to something that isn't just an online interaction.

I'd ask you to understand that this idea of creating a 'Sub/Slave/Sissy Challenge Game' is a new one, so I haven't got all the answers right now. (Others might have done this sort of thing in the past, however, being new to the scene, I'm not aware of them, and so this is an original idea for me).

Origins: I noticed that a lot of subs where asking potential Mistresses/Masters for challenges to perform, and thought I would see if I could create an eBook containing original and inventive challenges.

I've seen a lot of these requests shot down by other members (referring to them as 'wank' bank material). Instead of judging these individuals for 'their' kinks, simply give them the eBook, tell them to perform the tasks and provide proof that the tasks where performed.

This will help satisfy two goals. Firstly, for the 'Wank Bank' crowd, it'll provide then with a source material for their kink. For the Dommes, it would (could, maybe) weed out those who are serious about submitting.

As I said, this is a work in progress, and might not go anywhere.

Personally, it's also a lesson in marketing.

Actually, he did. He specified "Masters" who have "subs". That's pretty specific in terms of what kind of relationship he was referring to.

OP, you'll find that the people who usually post in these forums tend to take these matters a little more seriously.

That's not to say that everyone here is invested totally into the lifestyle. I definitely am not. But there are lots that do, and even those who are dong this part time or "just in the bedroom" tend to be ones who do it IRL, not as a "fantasist".

That doesn't mean that you would not get useful answers from a post like this. There have been those who have asked similar questions and have gotten useful feedback. But you have gone from asking the general forum population of Masters to only those who do it online for fun to looking for feedback for creating a game to writing an eBook about it, and we are still on the first page of the thread.

It's hard to take an approach like that seriously.

Just sayin'.

I hate to be pedantic (no I don't, I love it), but he did not. He did not say anything about them having subs, only that they provide tasks for subs. Based on what he posted the subs could be anybody's sub at all, as long as that hypothetical master provided them with tasks.
So, let's say my boss at the pub identifies as a master, and he tells me to take over the bar for the rest of the shift. Well he qualifies, as he is a master who has provided a sub with a task.
[:D]

Thank you for your response Wayward5oul, I appriciate it. In reply to your last paragraph. I asked a simple question, hoping for a simple answer from Masters who provide subs with challenges. Instead I got a lot of questions that hijacked the tread and left me defending my post.

I asked the original question, as research for content within the game, and the game is in the form of an eBook. (Not sure where you got the idea that I was writing a book ''about the game', the ebook IS the game.

So, in other words if you are not currently in a relationship you cease to be a master/mistress/submissive/whatever-the-fuck-you-identify-as?
