I don't believe Trump to be a racist, most likely not a misogynist, thus the lesser evil. I would vote for any of the 20 or so people who, between the two parties, started this race before I would vote for him......except Hillary......she is evil incarnate.

Punkassmotherfuckers who have never been to the bar-b-que don't seem to have any problem voting for some one who will fill up all those unused body bags.

Withhold your vote??? thats sorta wussy, isnt it? how about making a real stand and give up your US citizenship?

Would you rather be beat with a 2x4 or a baseball bat? No matter how you vote you have voted to be beaten. If you refuse to vote you have voted not to be beaten. If someone threatens to burn down my house why would I choose to leave it to them to burn?

It dont matter who you vote for. I did not vote for Reagan *twice*, Clinton *twice*, W *twice*, Obama *twice* and will not be voting for Hillary *twice* but she will be prez *twice*. I will be doing my usual write in.

I will avoid the line and be in my hammock with a glass of bordeaux and a blunt.

Vote for the candidate that best represents your beliefs, regardless of what party affiliation (don't limit yourself to just the big two parties) that candidate holds.

That's what you should do every election. That's what I'm going to do (means I wasn't always doing that previously) from now on. No more voting against someone. I'm only going to vote for someone.

If we had a decent turnout this election (> 65%), the next election, the next election, and so on with more voters showing up...then I think we could get eventually get rid of our 'Winner-take-all' voting system, after many, many, MANY, election cycles. Although, we would likely fall back into a two party system anyhow. Our current election process and politics has me completely hopeless for my future. I think its going to be quite a while before we start seeing positive change.

CGP Grey has some great videos on voting, and politics, in general. Here's a video explaining the problem with voting for someone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7tWHJfhiyo, which is a good idea in theory. I would highly suggest checking out his other videos as well.

Regardless of the turnout for primaries, despite the fact that pres. elections do get the higher turnouts and even though you can cut the cynicism around both candidacies with a knife, it doesn't matter who gets in.

They both will play ball, they will both be sufficiently or more militaristic then necessary, they both will continue the surveillance society, the drone war, the ME sorties, throwing ever more billion$ at the pentagon and corporate welfare...nothing will change.

And they will both be at the mercy of bickering political policies. We're F.I.A. regardless of who wins.

What to do other than to withhold my vote?

A vote is better than no vote.

I'm waiting until the debates to make a decision in the hopes that Hilary and Trump will a) drop out of the election, or b) Get taken out by meteorites.

what the heck??? Your logic doesnt make sense.. at least not in this case.. If you refuse to vote on how you will be beaten then you certainly will still be beaten but someone else will decide if its that bat or the 2x4.. so there is not much if any difference if you vote or dont.. Of course if you give up your citizenship then you would have to find a new country and have a second citizenship so you can revoke your US citizenship.. I do realize most Americans wont do that, they will stick with the burning ship and go down with it (& fight to the death for the right to do that).. Tina Turner seems very happy in Switzerland, so some ex-Americans find they dont miss the US/US citizenship at all..

One is a Wall Street stooge, the other racist and misogynist; either will get more American troops killed in the Middle East. There is no lesser of two evils here. What to do other than to withhold my vote?

Vote for a third party and break the two-party system.

I never understood the logic of not voting.
Why do we even want the right to vote who we want as leaders if we don't even want to vote?

you could always do a couple of hitches in the foreign legion Vincent. That would give you French citizenship as long as you change your name on entry. you may be a little old for that now though *smile*..................and who the hell wants to be French anyway ???? Go to Sierra Leone. you can buy citizenship there for a couple of hundred dollars.

I had faith in Trump from day 1 he ran! He was my pick from the start!
I believe his gonna be President now!
Some weird shit happened and Cruz that has been fighting so hard, just gave up.
The whole point was to make sure a convention happens!
And now, it's like, everybody gave up fighting Trump.
It's kinda weird.

But things are paving for him. Now..., we shall see magic happen against Hillary. Hillary is actually not so strong, since Bernie is doing well against her.

I was watching this clip and Ted was patient in dealing with Trump supporters. But it's funny, Trump really done something amazing here.

Cruz mentioned that Trump wants to take guns away from people. And Trump himself wrote in one of his books, he hate guns.

And these super redneck types are like, super pro-gun, and yet, it doesn't faze them that Trump is against guns.

How do you get redneck support for being against guns and evangelist support for being pro-planned parenthood?

That's the amazing thing of Trump.

His always been fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

But he is able to get super conservative rednecks support.

The good part is, his already socially liberal by default. When he goes up against Hillary. It will be interesting.

You heard it right here from batshit crazy, occasionally sauced to the max Cinn.
I'm going to post right under Greta cause I like Greta, very intuitive.
Trump can focus on Hiliary now, and knock her dick in the dirt, which he will do.
Trump will be president.
As he has said, he will have the persona as a President, when a presidential persona is required.
When he is president he will have the support of the very best America has to offer in terms of "staff"
BOOM.
Not a prediction, wait and see, it's FACT.

So according to Fox news. The number of democrats that will vote Trump, doubles the number of Republicans who will vote for Hillary.
And if they poll together with all that people who say they are too lazy to come out to vote. Trump wins.
Also in the primaries, democrat voters turn out are drastically lesser than republican voters turn out.

Less people are interested in bothering to vote for Lib candidates. Whereas Trump is actually inspiring people who were too lazy to vote in the past to come out to vote for him.

I feel like alot of things are for him at the moment.

And the whole reason why more dems will vote Trump than Reps will vote Hillary makes sense, because they are Bernie voters. All those dems that is gonna vote Trump.

Trump is freaking lucky!
