Ok, I'm sorry as much as I love pros and all they do, to imply it takes more schooling and skill to swing a flogger than it does to perform open heart surgery or repair multiple gunshot wounds is outright bullshit. Even the common doctor who treats your kid when he has a cold had to do a lot more to get there than you ever will to be a pro. Oh and doctors and therapists have to grow their skills too. The only difference is someone will test them to make sure they have learned it before they are set loose on patients. All you need is some dungeon equipment and someone willing to pay you to hurt them.

While I agree that doctors are essential and deserve more money (and on average earn more money than dommes, which is perfectly fine), swinging a flogger is not all it takes, I also have a problem with equating pro dommes with doctors or therapists, while BDSM can be therapeutic, it's not a substitute for real therapy, doing so can cause a hell lot of problems.

I honestly have no problem with the fees pro dommes charge, it's certainly not easy money, but dungeon equipment is not cheap, the risk is not inconsiderable, there is no insurance and once you are busted, your life goes to hell in a handbasked, and pretty often it's not even the fault of the pro, do we remember all the cases where a client embezzled money and spent a fraction of it on the domme? Who's face ended up splashed all over the tabloids?

Personally I'm all for legalizing it and having professional standards, which would include medical background, studies with tests. Everybody would benefit from it. Because it's all forced into semi-legality or illegality, it is difficult for everybody. If it was legal, there would be business standards, it would be less risky, and risk always comes with a price tag.

One of us might have to change the life, I personally don't see a reason to change mine, I'm quite happy with my husband, I hope that in the next few decades you find a woman who will at least meet you for coffee, though I wouldn't want to bet money on it.

So one of us is lonely and not a success in life, and it isn't me, give me a good reason why I should have to change my life?

$2500 for a pair of really good ones, not mentioning the costs of getting to the shoe maker, because not every shoe maker does them, you can get the over the knee ones from semi decent leather for about $300, but unfortunately I have rather muscular legs and a high instep so off the peg doesn't work, and if boots don't fit right, they look like **** It's actually worse than an ill fitting corset or bra, and don't even get me started on the costs of custom made leather corsets and bras. Leather unlike latex is not forgiving, it HAS to fit, and nope, the bargain from the 2nd hand biker shop doesn't do it for most guys, and since they pay (however much or little) they expect outfits, unless you're happy to sit on their face and claim it's domination, personally that always grossed me out, my orifices weren't for sale or rent, my skills with rope, whips, crops, etc. were. I had no problem with the erotic factor, however my body was not for sale or rent, clients came for bondage, domination and sadism, they could rely on being hurt but not harmed, I'm truly not looking down on prostitutes, if anything, I admire them for being able to do the job they do, I couldn't, I don't see them as "less" human or anything, they just did a job that I couldn't do.

When the market floods, the fees will drop for most but I know some pro-Dommes who's prices stick, no matter how much the market is drenched. Like a Rolex watch or a Birkin handbag they don't have to worry about discounts.

1) Maybe she didn't enjoy seeing you as much as you enjoyed seeing her.

2) Maybe she had a shitty week in her personal or professional life.

3) Maybe she's burning out. We deal with two tons of shit heads as ProDommes. She might just be hating her job right now.

4) Maybe it's exactly as she says it is; she just has a lot going on.
