ORIGINAL: Spiritedsub2 I had a tv with the dvd built in, but it was before the super thin sets, so maybe that won't work anymore. Did anyone suggest taking magnesium supplements at night? That helps me sleep. What is that? (Why does that do something?) Where do I get that stuff? Is it natural? What does it do....and why? Of course it's natural! It's an essential mineral that the vast majority of us are deficient in, since we used to get it from healthy food. Here's where I buy it: http://shop.mercola.com/product/magnesium-l-threonate-120-per-bottle-30-day-supply,1191,420,0.htm As to why or how it works, I don't know. But it does, and we need it whether we are insomniacs or not. Do you ever wake up with a leg cramp or charley horse? That's usually a clear sign of magnesium deficiency, or potassium deficiency. Correcting mineral imbalances for some reason does help sleep. We need a doctor in the house. No....none of that....even with sleeping pills....it takes me 3 hours to drift.....I wake up intermittently....always "awake"...when....through hours of being awake....I discover (even hearing the TV the entire time....certain I was awake)....I did get 15 minutes....sometimes 2 hours....UP AND DOWN (mostly up) mostly drifting....in and out....but in 10 hours.....I get 4+....sometimes 7. (Rarely 7....MOSTLY 2 -5) No leg cramps....no uncomfortableness....no charley horses..... But if this will help me sleep more solidly.....I'll try it!
