Forget the Maya....
Forget Nostradamus....

Last night the final nail in the coffin for humanity was placed and the world will end this weekend.

Thing is that every one that follows baseball realizes this.

For the rest of the poor souls who are going to die, and have no clue as why the rest of us are prepared for the event....

The Chicago Cubs won their first world series in 117 years.

Its over.

The fork has been stabbed and the world has been deemed done.

Once the curse was broke, that was it.

We be doomed.


Now granted, when I tried telling the various people this fact when I paid bills today, they still wanted their money, although one woman at the cable/internet company did agree that the world was going to end for the same reasons I postulated.

actually, given the Cleveland Indians injured list, the Cubs were going to have a fight, but would have taken the series in 7 games. The Indians were short pitchers, so they were rotating them on short rests (3 days.)

So, by game seven, the Indians pitching staff would have been sore and tired, even with 3 days between games.

I pitched high school ball, and trust me, sometimes five days is not enough time.

The Vegas line had the Cubs winning, so betting on them would not have gotten you much.
No idea sure was the game count was. Cubs in 4 was probably the highest odds; Cubs in 7 was probably the lowest.

I think the Cubs winning is just the 1st of the Four Horsemen.
The 2nd would be if Trumpasaurus Wrecks wins the White House.

After that, all bets are off.

When they started the 10th it occurred to me that it was one thing to make the Cubs fans miserable for a century, but now the Indians, and Cleveland will be known as the team that lost to the cubs.
