I think that the blacks owe us some debt of gratitude for buying their ancestors that their own people sold to us. I mean... look where they are now because we did that.

i don't know about the "debt of gratitude" per se but dinesh D'Souza makes that argument in one of his books they today blacks are better off here than if they had been still in Africa.

it might be there where I heard the (paraphrased) quote by Muhammad ali after returning from some time in Africa, "I’m glad my ancestors got on board that slave ship..."

Strange. Because I used to be more center, leaning towards right in a lot of things, until I came to this forum and started reading how the right felt so mistreated and therefore felt justified to come on here and say the kinds of things that they did, this thread being a good example. I didn't know that people still talked like that, in a somewhat open manner, but I guess people will say anything behind the anonymity of a keyboard.

I still think that I am center on a lot of things, but the things that I am not center on, I lean towards the left. Because of my experiences here.

Lol... i had the opposite experience. I used to be more moderate until i came here and dealt with the hateful left and it has pushed me more right.
